You will love the charm of Beyond The Sea, a Florida seaside style home, just yards from Scenic 30a on the Emerald Coast in Santa Rosa Beach. Two and one half story, one balcony, and two porches with a tin roof. Casual, tropical and relaxing. Southern Pine floors are throughout the first floor, stairs and master bedroom. Two bedrooms and the third floor tower room are newly carpeted.
This home is only four years old, yet has the feel of being there for years. Furniture and décor are tasteful, lovely and comfortable without having a showroom/designer look. There are rockers on the balcony off the master bedroom and on the front porch. Beyond The Sea is in a desirable neighborhood that is so close to everything on scenic 30a. Our home was featured in Better Homes and Gardens Decorating issue the summer of 2006.
There is a side porch and a place to hang your towels and outdoor shower to rinse off once you're back from the beach which is .3 of a mile away. There are three entrances to the beach in Santa Rosa Beach. The sand is crystalline and waters turquoise turning emerald. We are the second closest home in Old Florida Village to the entrance by Goatfeathers. The beaches on 30a are the most clean and beautiful beaches in all of Florida in our guests opinions. All the entrances are lifeguarded during season. The first floor bedroom has an antique iron full size bed with a bathroom with a semi-circular shower directly across. Walls have wallpaper looking like sailors' maps.
The second floor has a queen-size bed in the master. A deck is right off this bedroom where you can sit and have a lovely view of the neighborhood below. The bathroom in the master has double shower heads. Another bedroom has one queen size bed and another two twins. Another bathroom is for the other two bedrooms. Up the stairs on the 3rd floor is the tower room where there is a king sized bed and a tv/dvd/vcr. This room is a bit isolated and teens seem to gravitate to it. Or anyone that wants privacy.
There are five TV's DVD/VCR's in the home, internet access, playstation II, books, games, videos, music to keep you busy after spending time at one of the two pools in old Florida Village.
The streets in Old Florida Village are made of pavers, which wind around 75 seaside style homes with natural plants, palm trees and lush scenery along with wildlife.Our neighborhood is wonderful place to walk, or you can use the 18 mile bike path just steps away.We have two community pools. There is an ice cream truck that comes past our home every afternoon during on season. Gulf Place has free concerts two nights a week outside on the lawn during that time too. There are also coastal dunes nearby as well as lakes and state parks. Bike rentals, kayak rentals for the state parks and lakes is also nearby. There are local art displays, wonderful restaurants,antique shops, cafe's and nightlife. But the atmosphere is relaxed. No fast food restaurants on 30a or condos higher than four floors. We are a few blocks from Miss Lucille's Gossip Parlor, Smiling Fish Cafe, Gidgets, Hepburns, Patchouli's as well as local artist displays. You can see colorful painted cars used as taxi's painted by local artists occasionally driving on the street. Many styles of architecture surround you as well as colorful homes.
Our kitchen is stocked with lots of new dishes, cookbooks,some spices, cooking and baking dishes, a 25cf refrigerator, garbage disposal, washer and dryer.
There are over a dozen beach towns to visit including famous Seaside right on the gulf. Seaside has weekly outdoor movies and Destin and Sandestin have outlet malls, water parks, scuba diving lessons, chartered fishing, only 15 to 20 minutes away.
We would love to have you come for a stay. You must be 25 or with an adult. Two families could come together for a great vacation. It is a non smoking home....So come down here to relax and rejuvenate. We did, and wound up purchasing this home with our family's interests in mind, but also you, with soft to energetic colors painted in rooms. Relaxation tapes, scent diffusers and a small cd player in every room. We look forward to having you spend time at Beyond The Sea, making it your haven away from home.
We have had people stay that are having beach weddings in Santa Rosa Beach. Its a perfect getaway for honeymooners, families, reunions, or just a quiet retreat for you to get away from it all.
Well behaved dogs are welcome. We have housecleaning done before and after your stay with fresh linens and towels laid our for you. Beyond The Sea has a keyless lock, numbers always changing, so no need to bring a key or worry about forgetting one. We have a contact person who will be able to help you if there would be any maintenance issue.

We do not give refunds for late arrivals or early departure. If there is severe weather, refunds will be pro-rated in conjunction only if the National Weather Service issues a mandatory evacuation. |
