  • A great Victoria getaway

"We stayed at this property for several days while sightseeing in Victoria BC and couldn't have been more pleased. The location was within walking distance of many of the sites of the Inner Harbor and it was less than a block to walk along the ocean front. There was off street parking so we often left the car parked and walked into the Inner Harbor area. We found the property to be clean, well decorated, cozy and well decorated. The owner was very helpful in answering our questions and giving us recommendations for places to eat and go sightseeing. If we were in the Victoria area again we would certainly stay here."

  • Impeccable chalet, fully appointed

"Checked in on New Year's Day to find that the chalet was still being cleaned upon arrival (4:00pm)...it was worth the short wait since it was impeccable and to our delight, all decked out for Christmas. We were a group of three families with three small children and found the layout suited our needs and allowed for plenty of space and privacy. Only reason I would not recommend for families with young children is the loft is open to the living area (potentially dangerous, not to mention noisy). The chalet was well appointed with board games, books, many DVDs, a fully equipped games room, three complete bathrooms, every kitchen item you would need, and plenty of linens. Location is not an easy walk to lift but since there was no snow, we were able to find plenty of easy parking on the slope. We would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend to others. Five stars well-earned!"

  • ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC HOUSE & ANEIMITIES-HAD THE TIME OF OUR LIVES!!!!!

"We stayed at the Beach House June 20-23, 2014. It was as wonderful as described, but even better! A magical time was had by all. We were a party of 10. 5 adults, 5 children ranging in ages from 17 months to 17 years old. We got together as a family for the first time in years & had not met some of our grand children. I cannot begin to describe just how wonderful this house & all it contained was. The view alone was breathtaking, kitchen fantastic, bedrooms, baths, & all areas of the house were clean, neat & very well kept. The laundry & dishwasher were used every day. The kitchen had enough dinnerware for our army & just about everything possible we could have needed. Kerry & Christyne have added personal touches & tried to imagine everything possible for children & adults to keep themselves busy when not enjoying the beach. The chairs facing the beach in the picture show exactly what you will see. A wonderful spot to watch cruise ships, ferries, boats, etc sail by or just sit with a drink or coffee and contemplate life. The outdoor grill was great, as my son-in-law had caught salmon, & we cooked out in the evenings. The hot tub was extremely relaxing for the adults after a long day. The kayaks (life jackets provided), croquet, table tennis, volley ball, beach buckets & equipment, & all the numerous toys were an extra nice touch & kept even our littlest one entertained. Although there was a large video library, the TV did not come on once. There was so much for us to do & we knew immediately 3 days were not going to be enough. The wildlife coming onto the property was very exciting, especially for the 17 month old. Quallicum beach was a short trip from the house & afforded us a long low tide in the morning to hunt for sand dollars, starfish, shells, & crabs. The market at Coombs with the goats on the roof was fun & the variety of flavors of ice cream available were too numerous to mention. We plan to Visit this house yearly & will be staying for a week or two, if Kerry & Christyne will have us. We wish we hadn't waited this long, unfortunately jobs & being so far away made it difficult until this year. Again I can not say enough about our wonderful visit at this fantastic house. We have become repeat customers for ever!!"

  • Great place for families with loads of activities for the kids.

"A well appointed condo. It was perfect for a family of 4. I think 6 might be tight. We had the two parents in a bedroom and the kids in the main living room (one on sofa bed and other on a cot). The condo was clean and very up to date. Having the large patio area was great and added to the living space. Being on the ground floor is key. The complex had loads for the kids to do... indoor pool, tennis, golf, ping pong, volleyball, soccer, beach with slide, etc. We had a boat which was a bonus. However within hours of arriving our kids were offered a ski on another families boat. The community of people ar very friendly. There were lots of kids around to play with (young and old). The adults often meet for appies and drinks and we were invited. They even do a mini boot camp some mornings. So if you like a place filled with lots to do and friendly people around this is your place. Russ was very easy to deal with. We even left a very precious ring and he managed to track it down and keep it safe for us at his home."
