"This Villa is absolutely beautiful. The custom door and beautiful landscape are the first things I noticed before entering this amazing home. The view and breeze from the pool deck is what I will remember the most. Tonya and Narcisso are very friendly and accommodating. Tonya’s cooking is amazing! The excursions were very reasonable, so we did several. I recommend Paradise Island and the waterfalls. The snorkeling at Paradise Island is outstanding, but the waterfalls are truly unique. I’ve never seen anything like it. We spent three days hanging out at the villa and exploring Cofressi. The pool and the weather was perfect. If you are looking to be pampered, I would highly recommend this Villa to anyone. We will definitely be back soon."

A great overall experience. I liked it so much I came back.
"I brought my 19 and 22 year-old sons here for spring break and we loved every bit of it. We were here a year ago and I am looking forward to going back. Going to this region requires pre-planning if you are not accustomed to it. You are not in the US. But that is why I like it. Everything is a little different. This trip can be as relaxing or exciting as you choose. I like a balance of both. The house and grounds are great for a family. The staff at the house are friendly and take pride in what they do. The house, Casa Blanca, is pretty and clean. Sobeida (I am probably not spelling her name correctly) is a great cook. The restaurant food in the area does not match Sobeida’s so save yourself a lot of hassle and try to arrange your day to enjoy your meals at home. Part of the adventure is going out to get groceries. Eat what is local and you will get the best results. The fresh fruit along the road is also good and more fun than going to the grocery.
My suggestions that made my stay easier: 1. Get at least enough groceries for the next few meals and snacks at a grocery on your way home from the airport. When shopping, it is expected that you will feed the staff of 3 people. It won’t matter. It is much more economical and enjoyable than eating out. A good grocery store called La Sirena. https://goo.gl/maps/BHrNV
2. Driving in the Dominican is difficult. However, having no car would be rough for me as I like to explore and venture out. The drivers are aggressive. I typically decline coverage when I rent a car. Not here. Get full coverage and use your Amex card as they usually cover the first $500 if there is a claim. A lot of vehicles drive at night do not have any headlights. I already have a hard time driving at night so I always tried to time my day so I would be home by dark.
3. Look at a map before you get there and before you head out.
4. Bring cash. Know the exchange rate. Many businesses will take US currency, but don’t count on it all of the time. Convert US currency at the bank located at the grocery store for the best rate in the easiest way."

"I recently stayed in Johanne's condo. First let me say Johanne answered all of my questions even arranged transportation for me from the airport. The condo is beautiful. The views are breathtaking. You have views of the pool and the ocean. 3 balconies which was fantastic! The housekeeper was so welcoming and friendly. She made a yummy breakfast for us and set it up outside on the balcony which was lovely :) . Ocean world is a 5 minute walk. 2 local restaurants which were literally a 2 min walk. Cabs are in walking distance at the entrance to confresi hotel. The beach is across the street what more can you ask for! I rented a chair for 100 pesos very reasonable. I will definitely be staying again! Thanks Johanne we had a fabulous time :)"

"I visited Villa Vista del Mar with my husband, 7 month old son, my parents, and another couple including their 9 month old son. From the moment we arrived at the house, I was completely relaxed. We had a babysitter come to the house from 11am-10pm each day to help take care of the kids. She played with the kids and took care of everything. The house was cared for by Mercey and I ate like a queen the entire time! The food was amazing and each meal was delicious. The house was also a treat! There were plenty of spots to take naps in the sun or shade. We played lawn games and had drinks outside on the various patios at night. We even had massages one day on the upstairs terrace!"
