  • Perfect Morro Bay Getaway!

"We rented this house for the weekend and had an amazing, relaxing trip! This house had everything we needed and was located in a great part of Morro Bay. The house was fully stocked with all kitchen utensils, bedding, towels etc. We loved the interior design and really felt like we were able to relax because the property was so well maintained and organized. The bedrooms were beautiful! We were traveling with two small children and found this home completely comfortable for all of us. The property managers were very lovely and we would definitely rent from them again! I highly recommend this property!"

"This is a very beautiful home. Well kept and taken care of. We were a bit surprised at the distance actually from the beach. Also the view was not what we had expected. Lots of seagulls on the roof between the balcony and the beach they like to join you if you eat a meal on the balcony. Also has 4 stories with a bathroom on the top floor and a bathroom on the bottom(basement) floor. None on the family room or kitchen floors. Was just a lot of stairs for someone over 70. Also make sure it you are going to the grocery store to take your own bags. This town now charges $.10 a bag for any needed. This would be a great place for couples out to do whale watching and wine tasting. By the way Sun and Surf provides great whale watching tours right off from the Embarcadero."

  • Fantastic Family Retreat

"We stayed here as the mid point on the drive from San Francisco to LA. Visiting from Boston, met up with family from SF for a fantastic family vacation by the beautiful beach setting in mid August. Great location for touring Hearst Castle and Roblos wine country. House is on a quiet street that abuts a state beach and park. Unencumbered view of the Pacific beach and memorable sunsets. Short walk to a sandy uncrowded beach. The house is amazing and well equipped. Everything you need for a beach vacation is available. Boogie boards for the kids, beach chairs and a BBQ. Beautiful well furnished outside patio overlooking the Pacific with an outdoor gas firepit makes you not want to leave the house. The chef's kitchen is very well equipped. Comfortable for 6 adults. Owners are great and very accomodating. Looking forward to a return visit for a longer stay."

  • Great place to stay

"The place is in the middle of the central coast - 25 min to Pismo Beach and 25 min to San Simeon. A nice wild beach is a block away - it's a great place for a morning jog or surfing. We would suggest to add electric kettle, garlic press, a couple of serving bowls for salads. The front porch and side yard is awesome."

Morro Bay Travel Tips

Morro Bay Lodging for a Location on the Spectacular Central Coast of California

Morrow Bay, a waterfront town, is in the central coastal region of California. This famous part of California is home to some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Morro Bay vacation houses are ideal bases to truly get the best of this spectacular region. For independent travelers, a Morro Bay lodging choice is a great opportunity to live like a resident and take advantage of all that this area has to offer. With a wide variety of Morro Bay rentals on offer, there is something for any size of party.

Morro Bay Lodging near the Nine Sisters

Arriving at the waterfront in the town, visitors from Morro Bay rentals will notice its most striking feature, a 176-foot high volcanic plug called Morrow Rock. The rock, standing at the entrance of the harbor, has no public access as it is home to the endangered peregrine falcon. It is one of a series of similar plugs along the coastline, known as the Nine Sisters, close to Morro Bay vacation houses. Choose a Morro Bay lodging option to be delighted by the scenery and the lack of traffic!

Morro Bay Rentals for Fishing, Sailing, Hiking and More

Morro Bay State Park, with its lagoon and natural habitat, is a haven for fishing, sailing, and hiking. Choose a Morro Bay lodging option near the golf course or the colorful marina. The Natural History Museum here has activities such as nature walks, puppet shows and guided tours. It’s an educational and fun experience for those in Morro Bay rentals. Ideal Morro Bay vacation houses for bird-watchers are close to the saltwater marsh that is home to an amazing variety of birdlife.

Morro Bay Vacation Houses near the Black Hills

For hikers, Morro Bay vacation houses are ideal for moderate walking in the Black Hills. Visitors with children in a Morro Bay lodging choice will want to head to the Elfin Forest National Area. This 1.5-mile boardwalk winds through the pygmy oak woods and will delight children. The adults might enjoy a tour of one of California’s most famous exports-–its wine. With a variety of vineyards offering tours, visitors staying at Morro Bay rentals won’t be disappointed.
