  • Anticipation was well worth it.

"Wait for it...that's what we do for vacations. You read a gillion descriptions, look a a bunch of pix. Pick one and hope. This did not disappoint. I always fear vacationing with a couple of couples. Would we have our space to really enjoy the private times away from the other couples? The answer was a resounding yes! From the downstairs rec area with a beautiful pool table to your bedroom to the various areas for sitting, games, and socializing, this house had it all. Especially when you share a home with several couples, bathrooms are important. I didn't count, but there was always one there when you needed it. And each one had either a great bathtub, sauna, whirlpool (couldn't spell jacuzzi), shower. Everything was full-sized too. And the best part...hot water! Nothing worse than being the last into the shower and there is no hot water left. One of your soon to be killed friends had taken his normal forty minute escape to paradise, leaving you frustrated, frozen, and determined to be first. Each bathroom has its own instant hot water tank. FREEDOM! Shower as long as you want, without fear of being hated by everyone else in the house. We loved the morning coffee's on the balcony looking at Morro rock. The view from here was better than most restaurant's view. Happy hour was phenomenal from our balcony. The house was also in walking of Martini Monday at one of the local places. The beauty of this was that after a rollicking round of martinis, you could walk back home getting your cardio and reprieve of a DUI all at once. I just said home. That's what was charming about this place. It is someone's home. It is comfortable for lounging, eating, movie watching...just like home. And it sure was cleaner than many homes I've visited too. And all around the house, you see evidence of the home life of the owners. You could see the love growth of a fine looking family. That made this rental even more special. Outside we saw very interesting things. If you are feeling peeky, there are binoculars made like a telescope so you could zero in on the herd of four to five deer who foraged and frolicked in the woodsy area across the street. I enjoyed looking at the police training canines to attack dastardly villains. This area is far enough away, there is still beautiful quiet. The owner was gracious but never intruded. I would return to this wonderful respite on a regular basis. It felt like home...except with way more people. I have already recommended this rental."

  • Fabulous home on quiet estuary

"We just came back from a three night stay in this beautiful home. I wish we could have stayed much longer. The home itself is very roomy, immaculate, and beautifully decorated. It had everything we could have wished for including binoculars to watch the wildlife. That brings me to the views - WOW! The house is on the estuary, so don't expect rolling waves or a sandy swimming beach. What you get instead, are constantly changing views and lots of wildlife. Besides innumerable birds, we watched an otter swim by and a group of seals nap on a sandbar until the tide moved them along. Every evening, we stood on the deck and picked out constellations. The entire back of the house has large windows so you have great views from most rooms. The furnishings are very high end. We used the fireplace in the living room every evening. There's even one in the master bedroom! The house was extremely quiet and private. It is in a nice neighborhood which we enjoyed exploring on foot. We were a group of three adults celebrating a birthday. We spent one day at the Hearst Castle and then stopped at Piedras Blancas to see the elephant seals. Another day we toured Paso Robles vineyards. We drove through Montana de Oro State Park and were very sorry we didn't have another whole day to spend there. We would highly recommend all of these activities besides trips to Morro Bay and Cambria. This house is conveniently located for all of these and so many more activities. We hope to return again, but next time will stay longer!"

  • Repeat Customer

"I've been coming to this house with my husband and dog for 15 years. It is like a second home to us. It is near trails, parks, and of course the 3 mile long beach. And that's not counting the Cayucos beach, which allows dogs! How fun is that! This house is clean, comfortable, quiet, in a small beach community with friendly people. The kitchen is well stocked, and health food stores, grocery stores, and the local farmer's market are close by.The thing we like the most is that it has a sunny front courtyard that seems to warm up on even cloudy days. There's also a simple backyard lawn for the dog. We hope we can rent this house for many years to come!!!"

  • Perfect Home!

"What a fantastic home. Location was perfect. House was immaculate, had every amenity you could want and then some. Kayaks were such a treat, kids absolutely loved them. Walked down to Embarcadero every evening for dinner or a stroll. Shared house with another family, we had 4 adults and 5 younger kids. Had plenty of space for all. We typically vacation in Pismo Beach, but couldn't find anything in Pismo this year. We ended up in Morro Bay this year and I think we'll be coming back to Morro Bay and hopefully this house again. Much more relaxing and quiet compared to Pismo. Property manager communicated very well, property maintained extremely well. We loved every minute we were there. Thank you!!!!"
