"We had the pleasure of staying at this house for 3 nights in July, and we loved everything about it. Excellent location, huge furnished back patio, with a beautiful view of the water and the boats going by. We enjoyed kayaking and paddleboarding around in the channels. The house is very clean and spacious, perfect for our family! The owner is very friendly and great to deal with. They even shipped us some clothes that we left there soon after our stay! Thanks so much for the relaxing weekend getaway."Guest: Judy & Dave Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 11, 2014View listing
"My husband turned 50 this month, so I wanted to do a special "getaway" without going too far. Even though we live only 20 minutes south of Faria, it was like we were in another world! This house was perfect for our family (4 adults and 2 teenage girls). It had EVERY amenity possible, including a "foot bath" to dip your feet in after a long walk on the beach! My husband brought his surf board and literally jumped in the water in front of the house! We saw lots of dolphins and a sea lions daily. Everything about this house is comfortable, from the beds to couches and especially the lounge chairs outside which provide the perfect place for an afternoon nap! The kitchen was a dream to cook in, looking out over the ocean......it just doesn't get any better. The manager, Chuck, lives nearby and stopped in to check on us to see if we needed anything. Very nice guy and quick to respond when making the reservation and answering any questions. We WILL be back, hopefully in September (for MY birthday) to enjoy another fantastic getaway."Guest: Brandee C. Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 4, 2014View listing
"Situated on a quiet, narrow lane, the Pierpont Beach house is beautifully designed and superbly constructed. It's about eight houses down the street to the beach (which, due to the No Parking rules is virtually deserted). The house is as clean as a whistle and indeed smells like a new house. There are two master suites, each with its own bath and two other bedrooms, one next to a half bath and the other (downstairs) bedroom has its own smaller bathroom. Both master suites feature luxurious bathrooms. The upper story bedroom has a whirlpool bath, double sinks, a glassed-in shower stall and a walk-in closet. The great room features a beautiful kitchen with state-of-the-art appliances, a dining table and a TV viewing area. There's a veranda with a beach view just off the great room. There's a also a large rooftop deck with ocean views. The bed linens are top-notch and the sheets were very nice. We went with our neighbors and our collection of five elementary school kids. The house easily accommodated all 9 of us comfortably. The kids had a great time riding their bikes along the beach bike path and rolling down the dunes. The managers were very helpful. A great place to stay."Guest: William Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 15, 2014View listing
"Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is grand in its location and its physical layout. It was so easy go back and forth to the beach, maybe a minute and half at the most. You are able to enjoy the sunrise and the sunsets. It seems as though the beach/ocean is just your extended yard. It is located in a very quiet friendly neighborhood. We had the opportunity to eat at some great restaurants as well as go on a trip to the Channel Island. We have been to other retreats to the ocean and this is without a doubt the most joyful. Traffic is minimal; it is not overwhelming as it is to the south of LA. We want to come back as we did not have time to enjoy all the activities we had planned. We were snoozing on the beach and relaxing. All members of my family; teenagers and adults loved our time at "99 Steps To The Sea"."Guest: A guest from Henderson, NV Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 11, 2014View listing

Ventura Rentals Give You a Distinct Advantage
Ventura, California is a quintessential beach community that will provide you with an authentic California beach experience. There are numerous Ventura rentals in the local area from which to choose, providing you with ample opportunities to explore the beach and beyond in complete comfort. While there are plenty of Ventura lodging options scattered up and down the beach including hotels, Ventura vacation rentals give you the distinct advantage of space and amenities.
Ventura Rentals Are Never Far from the Action
Just after arriving at their Ventura lodging choices, most people immediately head to the promenade. This is the place to be in Ventura. The Ventura Pier, never more than just a few steps from most Ventura vacation rentals, offers a host of seafood restaurants as well as a chance to get in some serious fishing. For even more fishing fun, consider dropping by the Ventura Harbor Village and Marina which is the perfect place for renting a boat or hiring a fishing charter. The village also boasts a variety of restaurants and shops, and is situated not far from most Ventura rentals. Of course, if you want to get in a little activity, it is also the ideal place to rent a bike and pedal along the beach in the balmy breezes.
Catch Some Waves near Ventura Lodging
When it comes to shopping, there are plenty of options as well near Ventura vacation rentals. California Street is home to a small but colorful shopping district featuring a variety of shops and antique stores, not far from most Ventura rentals. Of course, since this is California, there are also several surf shops as well. If you are interested in catching some waves, you will be in good company.
Take a Day Trip from Ventura Vacation Rentals
The Channel Islands are situated close enough so you can actually see the islands from many Ventura vacation homes. They are ideal for a daytrip from California coast lodging in Ventura; on the islands, you can enjoy snorkeling, diving, bird-watching and swimming. Take a picnic and make an entire day of it before you head back to your comfortable and relaxing Ventura rental home.
