"Our trip was like a dream .....something out of a movie. We spent three fabulous nights in this amazing beachfront home to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. My husband and I and our five children enjoyed quality time amongst the beauty of the California coast. The sound of the ocean and views from the home are more than breathtaking. Nora was there to welcome us for the celebration with fresh flowers and amenities throughout the home made to feel like you were at a spa resort. The home is clean and has every luxury you could possibly imagine to make your stay comfortable and enjoying. We did not have the most favorable weather but what better place to be than in front of a crackling fireplace with the sound of the ocean right at your fingertips. It was a dream trip and one that we will always remember. Thank you Nora for allowing us the opportunity to share your home and it's beauty."

  • Fabulous House!

"Our hiking club Walk And Wine rented this house to use as our "home away from home" after hiking in the Channel Islands NP; the manager was easy to work with and readily available. The house was just a few steps from the beach and the layout is just perfect for a large group, no one ever felt "cramped". The house was meticulously clean as was the yard and patio. We stayed 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it; highly recommend this home for a large family or group, we will definitely book again next time in Ventura!"

  • Heavenly

"This is a beautiful little place, with everything you need to relax and unwind. Sit on the deck with cheese and wine at sunset, or coffee and goodies in the morning and watch the light and shadows change the valley and sky, listen to the horses cries echo from the hills. The guesthouse itself is beautifully decorated, with everything you need, and the curtainless windows offer gasp-worthy views. The drive from Carmel Valley village is astonishingly beautiful, and easy. We'd planned to cook in one night and go out the second, but wound up canceling our reservations and just relaxing and eating in both nights. The wood stove quickly makes the whole place cozily warm, and even though the fire dies down after you go to sleep, the place stays perfectly warm all night, and into the morning. We were sorry to never see our host, but dealing with him was a breeze. A bargain. Magical. Paradise. Hope to return soon."

  • Home away from home!

"This is a condo but has more the feel of a house on a quiet street in a residential area with a short walk to the beach. It is tastefully decorated and warm and inviting. The kitchen is equipped better than my own! You'll want to fix meals here and just hang out. A perfect place for a romantic get-away, a thoughtful retreat, a family get together, or a jump off spot to explore Santa Cruz and Monterey-----it has it all."
