We had a wonderful trip. We spent lots of time in the living room and kitchen with its wall of windows and balcony. You can see the waves crashing on the beach from there. The house is very nice and clean, and has all the things needed in the kitchen. The owner reached out to us before the trip and was very communicative with us, which is appreciated.

The location was great - we were one row back from the beach and a completely unobstructed view from the top floor where the kitchen and family space are. Quick 3 min walk to the beach itself, and our kids loved going every day. Close to lots of fun places nearby - Monterey Aquarium, Monterey Zoo (we did the big cat feeding Crunch Time - big thumbs up), Santa Cruz Boardwalk, Elkhorn Slough. Home is very comfortable and well equipped, includuing beach chairs to borrow if you want. Definitey recommend.
