  • Comfortable, and perfect for wine country

"My wife and I stayed in Rich's cottage for our first year anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. The pictures do not do the cottage justice. The inside of the house is amazingly comfortable and was hand built by Rich, the detail and craftsmanship show. The outside is even better, the hand crafted outdoor chandelier, fantastic dining table and perfect pool setting make this an amazing retreat. if I were to buy my own wine country cottage this would 100% be my choice and check all the boxes."

  • Excellent

"Our friends found this jewel and we came along hoping to enjoy a bit of wine country. We loved the villa and the owners. We rented the big house and loved that the owners were near by staying in the cottage, just in case we needed anything. The hot tub, views and beautiful house met all of our needs. We highly recommend it and will go back again. If you are looking for a lovely house rented by lovely people, stay here. The decor was colorful and amazing. The beds, clean and comfortable. A great value and great location."

  • Quintesential Mountain Cabin for Two

"Only a few minutes from downtown Healdsburg, we find this one-bedroom, one-bath, 1920's mountain cabin that is perched about 100 feet above the Russian River. As we open the wooden gate at the entrance to this very private property, we are greeted by a beautiful oak tree with outstretched arms. To the right there is a primitive outdoor stove, reminiscent of a bygone time, adjacent to a modern 4-person hot tub. A gravel path leads us past a large stainless steel grill to the left and on to the cabin. A wonderfully creaky screen door welcomes us into the cabin and we find a cozy living room with knotty pine walls and an exposed beam ceiling. A comfy couch and chairs, with luxuriously soft throw blankets, surround a stone fireplace with a gas log insert. Wi-Fi is provided as are Pandora and Netflix on the 30" flat panel television above the mantle. The fire is lit and the cabin is warm and inviting. On the back wall there are the shelves with books, magazines and information on the surrounding area. A floor to ceiling 9-panal window on the left wall provides views to the lush greenery outside. Through the glass French doors on the back wall, we find a screened in porch with two Adirondack chairs and a dining table and chairs that look out to a sloping back yard, an outdoor fire pit, the Russian River, hundreds and hundreds of acres of the Seghesio vineyards and nothing else but rolling hills and the mountains beyond. After taking in the magnificent views, we proceed into the quaint but well appointed kitchen and find a sink, oven/stove, refrigerator, coffee maker and corkscrew. Of course, we only really need the corkscrew as we have restaurants already selected for every meal. A hallway leads us back to a bathroom with slate shower and the bedroom with a raised Queen size bed that looks so comfortable. Last but not least, the proprietor is first class, very accommodating and available if you need her. We highly recommend this beautiful property. Enjoy!!"

  • Eclectic charming getaway

"This is my first review, and I need to begin writing reviews as they have been an enormous help for me in traveling. VRBO is wonderful and I have never been disappointed. This eclectic, charming, and well maintained rental was perfect for my husband and I. You can walk a few blocks to the square in Healdsburg to enjoy a morning coffee, lunch or feel comfortable walking around in the square at night to enjoy a wonderful dinner at many fine and award winning establishments. The yard here is also perfect for having coffee on the back porch and often an evening glass of wine too. There is a grill for cooking dinner too. The kitchen is well stocked for all your needs. The photos of the house are exactly what you will find. The owner/manager were wonderful to work with as well. My husband and I had a guest for part of the time, and we had plenty of space for us. We enjoyed touring wineries, biking, walking to the gym, dining in the local areas, and taking day trips while staying here. There is a park for children, tennis, and basketball within a five minute walk as well. For me, it was great as I could walk while others were doing their own activities as I felt very safe in the neighborhood and Healdsburg is a charming delightful town."
