"Perfect house for relaxing and enjoying the Sonoma wine country. The house was well-equipped and very tastefully decorated. We really enjoyed our stay. However, the access road is very narrow and not designed to accommodate more than 1 vehicle."

"My girlfriends and I stayed at Oak Leaf Retreat over Memorial Day weekend. We absolutely loved this place! In fact, we had plans to eat out every night and found ourselves wanting to come back to the house and make dinner instead, just so we could enjoy the house. We spent lazy afternoons on the porch, as well as evenings in the hot tub, just chatting and catching up with each other. And cozy mornings on the couch as well! Oak Leaf Retreat was ideal for our get-together. We were college friends from 30 years ago who fell out of touch, but now we are going to get together every two years and do this again, trying out new locations. This house was our first and we will have fond memories of it forever!"

"My wife and I just stayed here for our anniversary and the moment we walked through the doors we already wanted to book our next trip. Let me keep this review short and sweet:
- the property is beautiful and very well cared for
- the amenities are all you'll need. Bbq, beautiful upstairs porch, brand new jacuzzi, all movie channels if you like TV, and surrounded by vineyards.
- very quiet area and secluded, yet very accessible to Healdsburg and Santa Rosa.
- Susan and Ron are top-notch hosts. Very kind and intent on providing a great experience.
If you want a beautiful place that is secluded, that is a MUCH better value than you'd get at any hotel, yes, even Hotel Healdsburg, this is the place.
We will be back. Worth every penny."

"We loved our two day stay at the farmhouse! It is the perfect set up for two couples traveling together, with plenty of room for gathering and entertaining and yet privacy with a bedroom and bath upstairs and another bed and bath on the main floor. The location is great for exploring all the wineries and just minutes away from downtown Healdsburg. The farmhouse is very clean and bright and furnished with everything you could possibly need, from a well stocked kitchen to hair dryers in both bathrooms. The decor and furnishings are comfortable with a charming mix of antiques and newer pieces. The temperature was in the low 90's during our visit yet we were never bothered by the heat in the daytime or even at night as the ceiling fans worked quite well and open windows provided a nice breeze in the evening. Margaret is very charming and gave us several great recommendation for wineries to explore.(We dropped her name a few times and tasting fees were waived!) Be sure and ask her about Margaret's Zinfandel made from grapes from her own vineyard! We started our morning with coffee in the back patio and enjoyed watching the sunset from the front porch with a glass of wine. We love Healdsburg and the farmhouse is a wonderful place to stay and headquarter while enjoying all the area has to offer. We'll be back!"
