"We loved the house! Slept our family of 5 with room to spare (2 adults, and 3 teenage sons). Awesome, HUGE deck, VERY comfortable mattresses, clean, clean, clean! This place was great. All the kitchen appliances you would need and more. We met family there for a mini family reunion and they rented out 2 of the other houses on the property. Our house, being the biggest, was the meeting place every day and night and definitely was perfect for that. The shared pool is amazing and also very large. We loved it and wouldn't have changed anything. Very close proximity to Acadia National Park and also Bar Harbour"

"I stayed here with my boyfriend in June for 9 days. I echo the peace and quiet sentiments. If you traveled one way you had access to the Beech Mountain Trails. The other direction offered a short drive to rent canoes on Long Pond. The location of the house is fantastic. Only 15 minutes to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and less for surrounding villages like Southwest Harbor, Bass Harbor, Northwest Harbor etc. The drive to Bangor was only 45 minutes and we took a couple of road trips just to go exploring. There was no shortage of places to hike, walk, canoe, kayak, climb and you could get right out of the car and touch the ocean on multiple occasions. A photographer's dream.
The house itself is spectacular. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials for cooking, and the living area warm and cozy and open. Perfect for visiting while preparing meals. The bedrooms were perfect with comfortable beds and plenty of space. We even unpacked our suitcases into the dressers provided. It truly felt like home. John and Priscilla were lovely hosts and offered wonderful advice on things to do and traveling times.
We purchased groceries in Southwest Harbor and also went to the Beech Hill Farm Stand where there was a lovely selection of fresh and homemade goods. Perfect for a quick run or for a big shop. People were so friendly and we interacted with many locals.
Overall, this place is fantastic and highly recommended for a laid back wonderful Maine vacation. I couldn't recommend this place more. We will definitely be back!"

"This small suite is perfect for one or two people. The king bed allows for a wonderful night of rest and the fully updated, equipped kitchen is perfect for making meals at 'home.' There is a nice little deck off of the bedroom, allowing for a little place to sit and relax. The suite is extremely clean with no details missed. Additionally, the location is perfect for exploring any part of the island."

"Perfect place to stay for a week and enjoy Acadia! Especially if you want to stay out of the tourist fray and enjoy the water, hiking, biking and scenery. It was terrific to have the kayak and canoe available off the dock to use. We brought a paddle board which worked out great too. The house is very nice, clean, fully stocked, beautiful deck and views. Perfect for a family of 5 or 6. Our teenagers loved it. We brought our dog, which worked great because of the fenced in yard."
