  • Family Get Away

"We had such a wonderful time. Our grandchildren were able to enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets from this quiet and quaint cottage. A perfect place for us grandparents to rest and relax and for the parents to retreat after a full day of fun around the island. This was an unforgettable vacation and I hope we will be able to do it again very soon. There is no place better to visit than North Haven."

  • Everything we had hoped for and more

"Atlantic Dreams is indeed truly special. Every positive comment by previous renters is absolutely true but I'll still add my 2 cents worth. First, it's about location, location, location. One of the reasons we rented this cottage was to have an unblocked view of the ocean and the rocky coast of Maine....Got that big time. We sat out on the deck every possible moment and although I brought plenty to read, I found myself spending much of the time simply gazing out at the ocean that was RIGHT THERE! Second, but not really second, the cottage itself was like something straight out of a Down East magazine. Whoever decorated the place got it absolutely right on, beautifully and comfortably decorated but not detracting from the awesome view outside. We both enjoyed our stay there so much that we've booked another 2 weeks at a future date."

  • We loved Sandy Point Cottage

"The white washed little cottage is so perfectly tucked away. I cooked every night and was so grateful for the fully stocked kitchen. Having the back door only steps from the beach was perfect for my two little boys. We loved it. Thank you, Jan!"

  • Great place to relax and enjoy family fun!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sea Chimes! Secluded but still close to so much. Our girls enjoyed the provide canoe and kayak while we spent time watching them from the dock. Lovely clean accommodations and great tips and recommendations from the owners. Don't miss dining at Moody's!"

Waldoboro Travel Tips

Waldoboro Vacation Rentals in the Heart of History

If you're longing for a simpler time, Waldoboro lodging will get you a little bit closer. This small town was originally established in 1720 and was called Broad Bay for nearly two decades. It was a center of battles during King George's War, and it was attacked by the Indians and New France. Until 1880, Waldoboro was the county seat for Lincoln County. As a result, many historic buildings are still located in the area, including oakum mills, grain mills, molding mills, a carriage factory, and more. Booking Waldoboro vacation rentals will let you unlock the history of this area.

Exploring Beyond Waldoboro Lodging

Don't miss the opportunity to explore the Maine Coast. The mid-coast region and the islands on it are beautiful and enticing with rolling hills, hiking trails, areas for biking, fishing, hunting, and more. Local historic sites often have antique shops and art galleries. Portland is about an hour's drive away for those who are looking for a big city. Within just a few minutes of Maine Coast Islands cottages, you'll find Darmiscotta, with its own beautiful art center and restaurants.

Private Main Coast Islands Cottages for Less

Having the privacy and intimacy of Main Coast islands cottages is something that can seem either difficult to find or far too expensive. Sometimes, it seems that the only way to afford a private cottage is to give up on the idea that you'll have luxury amenities. However, you can find Waldoboro lodging that's both affordable and luxurious. With washer and dryer units in each apartment, spacious rooms, large beds, and an ideal location, these Waldoboro vacation rentals are the perfect choice. You'll find a pleasant surprise in the price of these rentals when traveling with a group or for an extended vacation. You'll gain substantial savings when compared to luxury hotels.
