Perfect home for a stay on Cape Cod!
"This was a fantastic place for us to vacation on the Cape. I brought my son's family with me, so we had 3 adults and two teens and a 10yr. old. This house had great space for all of us. The décor was in a tasteful beach theme. The kitchen was fully stocked with the things you would need to cook great meals. My sister lives in Cotuit, so it was easy to get to and from for visits. We enjoyed a walk down Scudder Lane to the beach Sunday followed by trip to Barnstable, a wonderful quaint village. We went out to Sampson's Island and were able to use the beach chairs the owners had available. The week was full with a Whale Watch, campfires on Sandy Neck Beach, Trip to National Seashore and P-Town, and a trip to Boston. Took in a few Cotuit Kettleers Baseball games and the Patriots training camp. This house was perfect for all our plans. The only downfall I have, was not having WIFI with everyone using the internet. Actually I wasn't able to connect to the land line, but Sturgis Library saved the day to make return reservations. Also having linens available has always been a common practice with other VRBO's. Bringing towels and bedding, etc. Was a bit of an inconvenience. Over all the experience of being in this location on the Cape and in such a nice home was wonderful! Thanks for letting us experience this great vacation home! Dana"

"This house is really lovely with a ton of charm and character that you would expect to find in a well maintained older home. There are quite a few activiites for kids while at the home- a swing set, playhouse/fort, and sandbox loaded with sand toys. The front yard is spacious with a large grassy area for flying kites or playing baseball. And of course- a large roaring fire pit for smores including a nice stock of firewood and kindling! We spent one entire afternoon of our 3 day stay just playing in the yard and everyone was happy! The bedrooms are on the smaller side with slanted ceilings from the dormers, so 'buyer beware' if you are over 6'! As is to be expected in a vacation rental home, you aren't spending much time in the bedrooms, so it was not an issue for us. The beds are quite comfortable and there is ample closet space for storage. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the amenities you would need to cook a basic meal at home. We had a really lovely long weekend stay and would certainly consider coming back in years to come! Thanks, Miriam & Craig!"

"This was our third year spending time at this wonderful house in the beautiful harbor town of Barnstable. The location is perfect, close to the beach, and far enough from the bustle of the small village to feel the quiet of the countryside. The house is comfortable, warm (in the November Chill) and well furnished. It is a short walk into the charming village of Barnstable with shops and restaurants that are quite impressive for the size of the town. We love to eat at the Tavern in town, and the larger town of Hyannis is just about 6 miles away if you are seeking livelier adventure."

"We arrived with eight adults and 4 children. The house is wonderful & comfortable. I felt like I was visiting a friends beautiful home, not staying in a rental! There is plenty of space so if you need a little bit of alone time there's no problem. The balcony off the MB was perfect for greeting the morning or having an evening drink or coffee. This was a wonderful week and the house played a big part in the success. Thank you!"
