"This was our third year spending time at this wonderful house in the beautiful harbor town of Barnstable. The location is perfect, close to the beach, and far enough from the bustle of the small village to feel the quiet of the countryside. The house is comfortable, warm (in the November Chill) and well furnished. It is a short walk into the charming village of Barnstable with shops and restaurants that are quite impressive for the size of the town. We love to eat at the Tavern in town, and the larger town of Hyannis is just about 6 miles away if you are seeking livelier adventure."

"Stunning home that acts as though it has 3 separate homes all built into one! The layout lends itself to a group setting but allows for intimate time away when needed. All decor and furnishings are extremely well kept and the linens are top notch. From the morning sun to the evening sunset, this home is perfect for those looking to soak in the scenery of a gorgeous pond that is offset by nearly an acre of grassy area made for building fires or relaxing in the sun. An upstairs loft is perfect for children and the master suite is a must see!! The other two suites are very upscale and well kept with private bathrooms throughout. The house is one of the cleanest I have stayed in thus far, and comes with all the upscale amenities one would expect. I highly recommend this home to families or a group of friends looking for a perfect location. I look forward to coming back to this gem for many years to come!!!!"

"There are two things that I make sure happen every year -- a trip to the Cape and a girls weekend. Being able to combined these two events at this quaint cottage was just energizing food for my souls. So good, that I really want to keep it a secret! The cottage is clean and bright and the neighborhood was just awakening from a long, cold winter. Our welcome basket was an unexpected surprise. The variety of shops and restaurants in town were just delightful. Next time, we'll plan our weekend when the Mattakeese Wharf is open so we can walk to dinner! Sunset walks on the beach were just what the doctor ordered! Though I want to keep this gem a secret, I do recommend this cottage for a small family or tight knit group of girls!"

"This was a fantastic place for us to vacation on the Cape. I brought my son's family with me, so we had 3 adults and two teens and a 10yr. old. This house had great space for all of us. The décor was in a tasteful beach theme. The kitchen was fully stocked with the things you would need to cook great meals. My sister lives in Cotuit, so it was easy to get to and from for visits. We enjoyed a walk down Scudder Lane to the beach Sunday followed by trip to Barnstable, a wonderful quaint village. We went out to Sampson's Island and were able to use the beach chairs the owners had available. The week was full with a Whale Watch, campfires on Sandy Neck Beach, Trip to National Seashore and P-Town, and a trip to Boston. Took in a few Cotuit Kettleers Baseball games and the Patriots training camp. This house was perfect for all our plans. The only downfall I have, was not having WIFI with everyone using the internet. Actually I wasn't able to connect to the land line, but Sturgis Library saved the day to make return reservations. Also having linens available has always been a common practice with other VRBO's. Bringing towels and bedding, etc. Was a bit of an inconvenience. Over all the experience of being in this location on the Cape and in such a nice home was wonderful! Thanks for letting us experience this great vacation home! Dana"
