  • Home Away from Home

"We spent five wonderful nights at Two Feathers and enjoyed a fantastic week of snowmobiling inside and outside the park. We have rented homes/condos many times for vacations, and Two Feathers was our best experience for a few reasons. First, Bill and Rose were very helpful and responsive leading up to our trip, addressing questions and arrangements in advance. Second, the home is absolutely immaculate, tastefully and thoughtfully appointed, and made us feel the most at-home we've ever felt at a rental property. After each long, cold day of snowmobiling we would sit in the two leather chairs in front of the fireplace to warm up and look at the pictures we took that day. Third, we could walk everywhere, including to grocery, Two Tops snowmobile rental, dinner etc. And it was below zero every day! But everything we needed was within a few blocks. Fourth, all details were covered - stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, and helpful notes/tips around the house. We could even park snowmobiles right behind the house. And last but not least, Bill and Rose are super friendly people, and are there for you since they live behind the rental property but you also don't know that they're there. Our travels were delayed on day 1 and they had the Packer playoff game on the tv waiting for us when we walked in, and pretty festive lights and fireplace going. They met us in the driveway when we arrived and showed us around. And throughout the week Emma the sweet big pup was always ready for a belly scratch. Highly recommend Two Feathers - we'll be back."

  • Great place to stay!

"The property was as described, but there is now a bunk bed in lieu of the single bed, and it was very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and we had most of our meals in the cabin which saved us a lot of dining-out expense. The cabins are set back from the main road so it was quiet inside. The only drawback was the lack of WiFi in the cabin, but Ernie's restaurant two doors away has free public WiFi so we could get a high-speed connection if needed; otherwise we got our email on our smartphones. Our Montana friends joined us and used the cowboy cabin which they found to be comfortable although heated by a portable electric heater that was a bit noisy. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. Overall, it was a great place to stay and infinitely superior to staying in a hotel. I'd definitely use this property again!"

  • Excellent Experience, more than advertised

"We have planned this Yellowstone trip for 2 years. And this cabin is the best choice you can get around yellowstone areas. This is the best travelling experience ever for us and other 2 friends’ families. This cabin is much better than we can ever expect. The room is well decorated and designed, extremely spacious. Kids enjoyed living/family room (play games, watching TV). Media rooms are fascinating, we bring movies, both adult and kids can enjoy. Hot tubs are their favorite too. Most important: Breathtaking view, we just love it. In the morning, we see fogs in the lake and mountains. At night, we enjoyed stars and galaxy in the sky. Moms all love the kitchen and cooking delicious foods. We have 14 people starting age of 3 to the age of 80 from 4 families. Everyone loves it. We will definitely come back when we have a chance."

  • Great Stay in West Yellowstone

"My family of four stayed here in late August and had no complaints at all. The condo was exactly how it was described and the pictures were accurate. It was quite chilly on the evening we arrived, so we turned on all the heaters and left for dinner. When we returned to the condo, the heaters had really done their job, as it was a little too warm then. We ended up turning off the heaters and the temperature settled nicely for the remainder of our five night stay. The location was very convenient to town, restaurants, grocery stores, and the park, while also being in a quiet area. The condo was clean and was stocked with pretty much anything you would want. However, our days were filled from sun up to well past sun down, and we didn't spend much time in the condo except for a few hours of sleep each night. I really appreciated having the washer and dryer available, so we only had to pack half the clothes we would have otherwise. Another bonus was that there was washing detergent available for our use. I hate having to buy a whole bottle of detergent for just a couple loads of wash! The only negative about the condo is that you'd better be prepared for stairs (you should be expecting this before you arrive though, as the description of the condo tells you up front that it is three stories tall). The owners were great to work with before, during and after our trip and even called a couple times to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Also, I am always pleasantly surprised when VRBO owners return the deposit check without you having to call and ask about it. I was happy to find the check in the mailbox the day after we returned home! Based on our stay here, I would highly recommend this condo if you are looking to stay in West Yellowstone! And as an added bonus, we saw several large elk each morning shortly after entering the park, so even the drive in to the main loop every day never got boring - even after five days of it."
