Ideal Montauk retreat
"Couldn't ask for a better place to celebrate a big birthday with friends with kids. Very clean, comfortable, spacious house with plenty of room and all amenities in an incredible, quiet location, 10-minute walk to gorgeous beach, a few minutes' drive to town (or a good walk on the beach!). The kiddos loved the big yard with swings, and everyone loved the sunny, big, high-ceilinged open kitchen-living room area where we could all hang together. Great deck, surrounded by trees (I think we heard an owl one night). Owner is a delight, responded immediately to questions. Didn't get to try the kayaks, but we will next time. Can't wait to go back."

"This beautifully restored barn has been a wonderful place to call home for our week's vacation in Sagaponack. The property, though just off Montauk Highway, is private and protected. Occasionally we would hear light traffic but we were rarely bothered by it. The yard is beautifully cared for and landscaping was natural and thoughtfully done. The owner, Susan, has been accommodating and quick to respond to any questions we have had during our stay. All linens and towels are fresh and high quality. The house was spotless when we arrived and we felt as though
we were walking into our very own bed and breakfast! The antiques are plentiful but fit well with the style of the home...not fussy or formal. The house was a nice size for our family of 3 (my husband, myself and our 10-year-old daughter, plus our non-shedding, well - mannered labradoodle). We did not use the cottage but some may find the loft sleeping area there as a fun option. The pool is set back down a short path from the house and in a pretty setting. The house is conveniently located to shopping and dining, and not far from two beaches where you can pay for the day if you don't have a permit which was a bonus for us. We have enjoyed our stay and happily recommend this cozy, charming home. You won't find a home with this unique design and character anywhere else in the Hamptons. Thank you Susan!"

"We rented in late June and had a great time at this house. Would highly recommend as it has so much going for it. It's a great house, beautifully decorated with all the amenities needed and an amazing outside pool area. The house is in the village on a quiet dead end street and so we found ourselves walking to most places. The owner, George, was a pleasure to deal with. We are definitely coming back next year!
