  • Lovely family vacation

"We had experienced the loss of a loved one and wanted to spend time together as a family. Our group of 9 ranged in age from 4 to 85. The house was perfectly suited for all of us and gave us plenty of room to spread out. The pictures don't really do it justice - it is even more lovely than it appears. It was beautifully maintained, and the owner gave us all the information we needed. So happy that we chose it. Thanks John for renting it."

  • Fabulous 4th of July with Family

"We had such a lovely time in Vir's home for the 4th of July. I live in the city and went out east with my boyfriend and my parents visiting from Texas. The house was immaculate, we loved that it was in the Springs- a lovely more secluded area. The house is perfect for 2 couples or possibly a family with 2 young children at most. They provided beach chairs, towels and your basic beach needs as well as towels and linens. The kitchen was newly updated if not brand new very nice with everything you could need. There was also a dishwasher and washer and dryer in the house. Arranging our stay with Vir was simple, and he was very accommodating in helping us when we had questions about out out stay. My dad is an engineer and my boyfriend is a designer and they LOVED the house for it's design and details. There are so many houses in the Hamptons that are designed like bad Shabby Chic or even look like they haven't had new linens since the 90's. Finding Vir's home was so refreshing and being in such a lovely well designed and well decorated home truly added to our vacation experience."

  • Perfect East Hampton Escape

"We were a small group of adults and young children coming from the city during the beautiful late summer, early autumn. We felt so lucky to be able to stay at this lovely home for a long weekend in September after the start of the school year. The house and the grounds are very private, charming, warm and beautifully furnished. The heated pool was amazing. The owners were responsive and very hospitable and made our stay that much more enjoyable. The house is well-located; the fish market, wine store, coffee shop, italian deli & the LIRR all within a block or two of the house. I would highly recommend this house for a lovely & peaceful East Hampton retreat. We would love to stay here again."

  • amazing family vacation!

"Our family of eleven with young children spent a long weekend here celebrating our mother's 70th birthday. The house exceeded our expectations in every way. It is incredibly spacious, safe and very kid friendly with a fully fenced in pool, a swing set that the kids spent half the day on. Inside there was also a great play area for kids with toys! The house was very clean, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The grounds are just perfect. We spent hours sitting around the firepit in the evening. (with enough comfy chairs for all eleven of us). Helen is also the kindest most attentive person we have ever rented from. A welcome note, fresh cookies and her cell number to text her with any concerns, we felt very taken care of. We left something behind and she mailed it to us immediately. The pool was cleaned professionally upon our arrival too. One of our days was a little rainy but no matter, we sat in the giant and well furnished screened in porch and enjoyed her beautiful views of the nature preserve. It's amazing to be in a place where you cannot see or hear any houses nearby and feel completely secluded while only be three miles from wonderful Sag Harbor. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you to Helen for providing the backdrop for such a special weekend!"
