"We spent many heavenly hours sitting on the expansive deck, looking out over the peaceful bay. The house is situated in such a way that it feels very private. Saw seals and eagles, and at night went down to the waters edge to see the phosphorescence from the plankton. The house is very comfortable and easily accommodated three couples in the main house and our daughter in the guest house. The kitchen is large and well stocked. Perfect for cooking the shellfish we bought from Buck Bay Shellfish Farm. The grounds surrounding the home are amazing and include winding paths that lead to the beach lined on both side with huge pink and purple hydrangeas. Lovely property. We would definitely rent this house again."

"We (two couples) stayed in this lovely house on the bay for a week. It's perfectly situated just a short walk from "downtown" Eastsound on the bay, right next to a kayak rental and bordering a wetlands, which afforded us regular heron sightings. The house is well-appointed, and we enjoyed everything from early morning coffee on the beach right across the street to a quick sauna after kayaking (in a bit of rain and wind). We recommend staying here absolutely (and hope to come back ourselves again!) with the caveat that the layout (the 2nd bedroom is a separate cottage across the deck, facing the bedroom in the house) is probably ideal for a group that is comfortable with a certain degree of intimacy (the most direct route into the main house from the cottage is through the 1st bedroom, and while you can draw curtains in either bedroom for privacy, it seemed a shame to miss out on the wetlands view, so we left ours open)."

"My friend and I spent a week at the Sunrise Cliff House. We were so tired when we first got there, and the first couple of days were so relaxing and rejuvenating. We had a bonfire and had s'mores one day. Once we were rested, our days were filled with activities - farmers market, shopping, hiking the many trails that Matt told us about. (We loved the trail along the cliffs above the ocean!) The locals are very friendly and waved as they passed us. We couldn't believe how much there was to do on a 29.5 square mile island! We had such a good time we are already planning a 10 night stay next year, so we will have time for inter-island travel."
