From beautiful white washed panel wood walls in the foyer and great room, vaulted ceiling with exposed beams in the great room to a fantastic screened porch with a mix of rocking chairs & adirondack chairs, this home offers true southern style and comfort. But for those seeking updated amenities, this home features extensive renovations (completed March 2018) including smooth ceilings, ceiling fans in all bedrooms and the great room, fresh paint top to bottom, new hardwood floors throughout, new furnishings, new tile backsplash in the kitchen, all new interior doors and much more.

In true Lowcountry style, this home has an "upside down" floorplan, meaning the main living areas are on the second level. The home comfortably sleeps 8 guests among the 4 bedrooms, with two of the bedrooms sharing a bathroom. The screened porch, which is just off the second level great room, also accessible from the kitchen, is the perfect place to relax, watch TV (that's correct, there is a TV on the screened porch for your enjoyment) or keep an eye on your family or friends below enjoying the sunny pool.

Being 4th row, Pelican's Perch is located only 3 houses away from the beach. For the quick 2 minute stroll to the beach, just follow the stepping stone from the pool deck.

Great location. We enjoyed the close proximity to the beach. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch and patio area. Wonderful vacation beach house.

Great house - great experience

Our family stayed at 10 Oyster Catcher during the last week in April and had a great experience. We'd been to Hilton Head several times before, so we knew our way around. There are a few things that make this house really great. 1. Furnishings and layout: this house is nicely and comfortably appointed. We lacked nothing. The upstairs screened in back porch was especially great. 2. Proximity to the beach: my fitibit said it took about 700 steps to get to the beach from the front door until my feet touched sand. 700 steps is entirely tolerable. 3. Beachside HHI rentals: Stephanie at beachside Hhi was great. She sent me reminders and then reminded me again if I forgot to make sure I had everything prepared to arrive and to leave in good order. Our first morning there (which was a Sunday) I hadn't read through the welcome guide all the way (you should read that, it's helpful)I was looking around for the WiFi access code and couldn't find it. So I shot Stephanie an email at about 6:30 that morning to ask thinking she'd respond whenever she got into the office the next day. Nope. She emailed me back 15 minutes later. That's pretty awesome. 4. Sea Pines: this house is in sea pines. Staying in sea pines is the best, considering you don't have to worry about temporary passes to the community if you want to eat there or visit harbortown. Also, sea pines is just generally the best for the bike trails, homes, and scenery. We really enjoyed our time. We'll be back soon, I hope!
