We enjoyed a great stay at Pelican's Perch. Property was nice, clean and well taken care of. Great location with easy access to beach, and easy bike rides to South Beach, Harbor Town, and Coligny. Property management was quick and easy to work with when I had questions or needed additional bikes or beach chairs. We would absolutely stay at this property again for future HHI trips.

We had a great week at Oyster Catcher. The home was open bright and spacious. We particularly enjoyed the screened in porch. Perfect hang out spot. Jay and Linda made our visit easy and thought of everything. We would definitely recommend this home and any home they manage if this is an example!!

Great week in Sea Pines

Overall the house was really good. Good layout, well stocked kitchen, and nice main living room. Our favorite part, by far, was the screened in porch which was magnificent. The pool was a bit small and an odd shape, but the kids still had fun splashing around. Great location in Sea Pines and an easy walk to the beach.

Pelican’s Perch

This is a lovely property in a fantastic location. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch which feels like being in a treehouse, so perfect for morning coffee or evening relaxing. The quick walk to the beach was perfect. The owners are very responsive and have provided thoughtful touches such as a coffee bar, and providing laundry and dishwasher tabs. We liked the layout of the home,for our group and found it to be well maintained and clean. I would stay here again

Great House in a Wonderful Location

We stayed at 10 Oyster Catcher for 2 weeks for my son's wedding. The house was perfect for my family and we loved the large screened porch. The location was just a short walk to the beach and we biked everywhere. Jay & Linda, with the Beachside Team, were great. The check-in process was easy and they were very responsive to everything we needed.

The house, location and management company response and communication were all A+. This home will be completely remodeled for the coming year, but we still found it to be beach-charming and lovely as is. Our favorite part was the large screened porch. Hope that stays with the remodel, as it's really a nice place to eat and have your morning coffee. The proximity to the ocean is about 500 steps. Definitely rent a bike and take the trail through the (closest) golf course.

Pelican's Perch is a Magical Place to Stay

We felt so blessed to have found Pelican's Perch! It was an amazing place to stay. The property is located in a very nice centrally-located gated community yet peacefully quiet. While the Atlantic Ocean is not visible from the house, it is easily accessible via a charming 500 feet walk to the beach. We went every day!Pelican's Perch was such a great getaway. It felt like home - very comfortable and peaceful. The ceiling to floor windows on the main level made it seem like we were staying in a treehouse with all the lush vegetation. The beach decor was perfect and we loved the open/airy floor plan. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of space and privacy while having great gathering spaces in the living room and dining area, screened porch and the pool area.We would definitely stay at Pelican's Perch again! Thanks for a great visit to Hilton Head Island. Memorable!

Prime Sea Pines

Excellent location very clean house with good design. Loved the open floor plan upstairs and the screened in porch was an extension of living space. Well-stocked kitchen. Proximity to the beach is very important to us which this had with easy access down a beautiful path probably less than 200 yards. Private beach with very few people but close enough to walk to Beach Club in under 5 minutes. Property management was excellent and very accessible. Thanks Beachside HHI!

Wonderful Vacation

The Pelican's Perch house was perfect for our vacation. It comfortably fit our group of 8, 4-adults and 4-kids. We loved the main vaulted room with access to the screened in porch. The pool is not large, but the 4 kids had a blast playing in it. The houses are not far apart from each other but the orientations of homes and plenty of vegetation made it feel quite private. Both families liked the short walk to the ocean and it felt as though we had our own section of the beach. There is no public beach access by this location and it was never crowded for any of the 4 days we went to the beach. Linda and Jay were very helpful and easy to communicate with. We would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Amazing house

From a family that has been to HHI many times, the vrbo listing wayyyyy undersells how amazing this house is. Tons of space, great layout for a family with teens or little kids. Super clean! Fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of TVs with all the apps to watch everything you want. Awesome outdoor porch and seating situation. Proximity to beach was amazing and super private. Not sure if the pool is heated, we never asked and didn’t use it as it was too cold. No beach supplies (bring your own chairs, umbrellas, etc, just FYI) Property owners were super attentive, easy to communicate with, and getting in and getting out was all digital, which was wonderful. A++ property.

Amazing Vacation

We came to Hilton Head to get away from the rat race in Washington DC. It was a perfect place to stay. Not knowing much about the island, we lucked into the best situation possible. Not only is Sea Pines the most wonderful place to stay, this house is as advertised. It offered everything we were hoping for. It was clean, updated, and so close to the beach. We timed the walk from the house to the beach - 3 minutes. It doesn't get any better than that. And we can't say enough about how attentive and helpful Beachside (property management company) is. Stephanie and Todd are the best. They take care of anything and everything. The entire experience was an A+. We can't wait to return. Thank you!

Spring break 2024

We had 2 sets of parents and four teenagers for their senior spring break. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and the grill looked brand new. Definitely get the pool heated. It took the edge off. The walk was a solid 5 minutes to the beach. But easy to do. The boys rented bikes and had a blast roaming Sea Pines. The backyard was private and the location was right in the middle of Coligny , south beach and Harbortown. Everything about this house was perfect . I researched for a solid month! The property managers were responsive and very accommodating. If we have a big group again, I will come back. We had a great vacation in Hilton Head.

Our stay at Pelican Perch was all we hoped for - and more.

Stephanie Hoke at Beachside Hilton Head was incredibly professional and pleasant as she guided us through the process of renting a home for our family vacation. Pelican Perch was the perfect venue for the week spent with our daughter and her family. There were 4 adults and 4 children in our party - and there was room for us all to spread out and enjoy the time when we were together in the house. The house itself went beyond the online description - it was spacious, clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, including nearly new bathrooms, appliances and linens, was located a short walk from the beach, had a lovely, large screened porch which became true living space, and a pool which the kids enjoyed immensely. (Depending upon the time of your stay, I would recommend paying to heat the pool for optimum enjoyment.) In a word - Pelican Perch is EXCELLENT. It earned the 5 stars I've awarded it - and we would love to return next year!! PS - Stephanie Hoke spearheads a wonderful program through which she collects unused, unopened food and amenities - leftover at the end of your stay - and delivers them to a food pantry/shelter. The girls especially enjoyed packing the bags to donate. Thanks, Stephanie, for the meaningful departure.

Wonderful house and great location!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and had great amenities. It is a short walk to the beach. We started having wifi issues one morning and Linda responded to our text messages with a solution almost immediately. Overall, we'd love to stay again!
