About this property

Our light and airy ground floor apartment is located in easy walking distance from the edge of the city centre. Located on the north east side of Edinburgh it has a wealth of independent shops, cafes and restaurants close by, as well as supermarkets and other chains. Parking is free and unlimited in the street, although you will not need a car as this compact and beautiful city has everything in walking distance. For those who prefer to save their legs there are regular buses into the city, as well as the tram which starts on the north side of town and stretches as far as the airport to the west.

The apartment has 2 double bedrooms, the larger one having 2 additional pull out single beds, kitchen and living/dining room, a small shower room, and access to a communal lawned garden which the flat looks onto. Being at the back of the building, the flat is quiet and south facing which lets light spill into all the main rooms.

Very nice apartment in convenient location

This apartment is very-well located for seeing all the sites of Edinburg as well as places outside of the city. A few buses have stops just around the corner. It is also close to grocery stores, bakeries, and anything else that you might need or want. Henrietta is very responsive and helpful. We were able to make all of our own breakfasts and dinners in the kitchen. We did not hear ant noises from the street or other apartments. I would highly recommend this place for a stay in Edinburgh.

Very well appointed, comfortable , great central location, all the amenities you could want and the best host ever. So quick to reply to any questions and so much detailed information about transportation and location of all the wonderful places to visit.

Rossie Place a great Edinburgh base

My family loved this apartment. Just right for us. A good neighborhood with shops just around the corner. We felt very safe and comfortable. Within walking distance to historic Edinburgh and close to buses on Easter Street. (Use the Lothian app for bus times.) My young adult daughters went out to tour themselves and felt very safe. The place was very nice and comfortable. Nice beds, nice linens, nice appliances - all very good. That being said the building entrance was a bit dark at times just inside the building door but we got used to that. The building was very peaceful. Just a different vibe than American apartment buildings. I highly recommend this apartment as it helped us enjoy our vacation in Scotland. I would rent it again. Thank you for sharing your property with our family.

Charming flat!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The flat has everything you could possibly need during your stay. We cooked a lot and the kitchen is well stocked. It felt very home like and cozy. The location is great, you can walk to most sites or hop on the bus easily. There were plenty of good grocery stores, bakeries and cute boutique shops right around the corner. Communication with the host was good and they even left us some arrival treats. Would definitely stay again!
