Wonderful location. Rustic Camp.
Host was very communicative and kind. Location was amazing. Guest passes to LBR was the highlight. Kayaks were wonderful. House is very rustic. It’s very wooded area so lots of critters and bugs. We knew this, so it did not bother us. But something to consider. Beds were comfortable, but towels and linens and rugs could use updating. The fireplace was wonderful and heater helpful as we were there during a very damp wet week. Amazing bird watching!

Recharge and reconnect
Had a lovely time staying in this quaint cottage. Brought me back to my childhood days when we spent weekends at our camp in New Jersey. Very cozy and well equipped. Sitting on the porch in the morning for coffee and shucking oysters in the afternoon down by the water was so wonderful! Hoping to come for two weeks next year!

Family get together
It was a wonderful stay and a lovely homey cottage. The sun shown every day we were there. Our children are really grown adults most in their 60s and waking into town. We are in our 80s so we spent quiet time enjoying the view and the sun. Maine and especially booth bay is a wonderful spot to spend time. Would recommend the cottage to everyone, it had a lot of personality.

Great family vacation
This property location is stunning and the property owner was extremely prompt and gracious in her communication with us leading up to our stay. We didn’t need to contact anyone once we arrived as everything was as we expected. We used the kayaks which was a huge bonus. We walked and drove into town - close enough to do either. And far away enough not to feel in the crowds. The people in the shops and restaurants were exceptionally lovely.

Magical Mew England Cottage
This cottage is exactly what we wanted. The pictures don’t do the View justice. I love the character and charm of the place. You can walk downtown, kayak or take a plunge off the dock. Mohegan was a must see. If you are looking for a relaxing, magical stay with charm then this is the place for you.

Sublime beauty
This was our fourth time staying at Nimia. It's our favorite place in the world! Jennifer is a pleasure to work with! Cottage will have everything you need to get lobsters and steamers too at the cottage. The location could not be more perfect with 360 degree views. The Osprey will give you a show every day! The cottage has a rustic feel and you feel like you've really been away somewhere back in time and where you can unplug and rest and enjoy its natural beauty! We never wanted to leave!

Classic Maine waterfront cabin
This cabin is a tremendous location for the folks who want to be near enough to venture out to places of interest like we did (Boothbay, Pemaquid, Maine Maritime Museum in Bath, Freeport, etc) but secluded enough that other vacationers were not 'just passing by' the property. It has a very secluded feel to it. The views from the property were absolutely spectacular. Our group (3 generations, ages 15-75) loved watching the lobster boats in the bay each morning. We enjoyed plenty of kayaking, fishing, and swimming from the dock. Inside the cabin everything we needed was there to use. We did 2 loads of laundry during the week. As stated in other comments there is a washer but no dryer. No worries - with the constant breeze blowing off the bay our clothes were line-dryed in no time. There are plenty of pots and pans, utensils, dishes, tupperware, etc. The heater and wood fireplace took the chill out of the air when needed (twice during our week). Communication with the property owner was remarkable. We began talking long before our trip and the communication continued to be open and direct through uncertain times regarding the pandemic and potential travel restrictions. Thankfully, our trip proceeded without the need for any accommodations but we always felt the owners stood ready to assist if we were to require it. We've been to the area before but really focused on paring down our activities this time as we were very interested in spending time at the cabin watching the world go by. That being said... we enjoyed a lobster boat trip with a local lobsterman named Clive Farrin. He's on Tripadvisor and is worth looking up. Pemaquid Light was as picturesque as we had remembered. You can't currently climb the light because of pandemic restrictions but the property is stunning and the small museum is interesting (particularly with the guidance of the museum keepers who seemed happy to have visitors and were quite willing to share their extensive knowledge). The Maine Maritime Museum in Bath was not on our original list but came highly recommended by lobsterman Clive and his assistant, Caige. Very happy they took the time to recommend it and it's well worth spending a couple hours. We've stayed at countless rental properties over the years and many of them have been fantastic experiences (a few... not so much). If considering a cabin in the Boothbay region this property is a "no doubter" and we would recommend without any reservations!

Boothbay Cottage
Location was perfect for relaxing and reading and swimming/kayaking. Cottage was New England rustic which was great with us. Could sleep 7 but wouldn't recommend more than six, four was perfect for adults only us and not run into each other or have to share bathrooms. Great swimming and easily walkable to town. No COVID issues in Boothbay even though we got tested beforehand - nobody checking. Thinking about reserving for next year

Quintessential Maine Cottage
We loved our recent stay! The view is spectacular and I felt torn between wanting to explore all the wonderful little towns nearby or just sit and stare at the water and enjoy the weather from the porch. The cottage is comfortable and a bit rustic but adds to its charm. We loved our stay so much and hope to return next summer. The owner was attentive and the location was ideal. Thank you!
