San Juan Island Get-Away on Guemes Island With A Seven Minute Ferry Ride

August special! Book 3 nights and get the fourth night free! Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, 4 bedroom/3 bath home located on Guemes Island. The main/master bedroom has a king-sized bed, while the two upstairs bedrooms each have a king-sized bed as well. The downstairs bedroom has two twin-over-full bunk beds There are also 2 sleeper sofas. One of them is located on the main floor in the living room. The second one is located in the basement TV room.  Situated near two private beaches with some of the best Dungeness crabbing in the region. Guests can enjoy an afternoon of exploring the beautiful beaches/waters of the San Juans and later watch the sunset from the expansive deck. Two other beaches that I highly recommend are West Beach which is accessed off of Lervick Avenue (small parking area on left). This beach is wonderful for sunsets. And secondly, Young County Park at North Beach. Plenty of parking here. Great beach for a stroll up and around Clark point at the tip of the island.Also don't forget to try some of beautiful hiking trails including one to the top of Guemes Island Mountain.

Quiet Retreat

We really enjoyed relaxing on Guemes with our family, playing games, climbing the mountain nearby, and just relishing the slow pace of island living.

Beautiful property!

This house is beautiful in a nice tucked away area. To be honest we thought it was quite a bit better than the pictures show, so that's a great thing! Quick ferry across to Anacortes and a lovely place for a family getaway.

Great place on beautiful Guemes island!

This was a beautiful property on Guemes Island, just across the water from Anacortes. The house had ample space for the 7 of us for the 4th of July weekend (easily could have fit more very comfortably). The hosts were fantastic and very responsive, and we had a lovely stay!

We had a wonderful time. the house is amazing. its had everything we needed for a thanksgiving meal. the game room and hot tub were great fun. I recommend this place highly.

Beautiful Guemes Island Vacation Home

My family gathered at this beautiful home for a three day family reunion. We were graciously allowed to check in an hour early. The home is quite beautiful and well maintained and also in a very pretty setting. We enjoyed our time together there and would definitely choose this property again!!!

Great weekend away on a quiet island

We loved the property - super relaxing and was perfect for a quiet weekend away. The one area that wasn't ideal was the hot tub cleanliness. It felt like it hadn't been cleaned in a while, but was still usable.

Peaceful Getaway

The house was beautiful and has everything you need for a peaceful getaway with your family and friends. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking tools. Gas grill and hot tub. Great movie, book, game and puzzle offerings! We highly recommend!

This home was perfect for our family - we were there to celebrate the life of our precious sister, sister-in- law, and Aunt. We were able to host a family gathering for other family members comfortably and we all appreciated having our own space at night. AMAZING! MUST BOOK!

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying in this VRBO. Our friends were getting married on the island and we all want to be able to come together as we are all coming from different states. It’s nice because everything is about 10 minutes away. The house was very clean and spacious and honestly we exceeded our expectations, if I ever come back to the island, I will 100% be staying here I’m so grateful for the time we are able to spend in the VRBO and the memories we made here.

Fantastic home, fantastic property, fantastic coast

Not much more you can ask for in a rental home on Vrbo. Fully stocked bathrooms, kitchen, and games/TV rooms. We very much enjoyed our time here. Beach access is a three minute drive away. Kids loved it. Charged my car (oops, sorry!) from the outdoor wall outlet, without issue. Would certainly book again!

A comfortable and well appointed home!

This lovely home had plenty of space for our family of 5. It was the perfect place for a peaceful family getaway. The island is somewhat remote but that was what we were looking for. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. We enjoyed the beautiful views from the hot tub and passed the time playing pool, watching videos and reading on the sun filled deck.

Spectacular “Hideaway”!! On Guemes Island

We stayed five wonderful nights at this special hidden retreat on Hideaway Lane. Lovely views, amazing deck. Lots of room. The photos on VRBO do not do justice to how beautifully decorated and spacious the home is. The view of the bay and night sky were spectacular!! The host is prompt, helpful, a good communicator. Many Thanks for making this home available for us; we had a fabulous gathering and created family memories for the decades!!

Guemes Island Property

First off, the owner was amazing. He was in contact with us throughout our reservation process and answered any questions we had quickly. He was great to work with and quickly addressed a situation immediately. We found that to be an asset to the entire rental process. The house was huge and was laid out very nicely for our needs. The downstairs was where we spent a lot of time on the warm summer days. Games, books, CDs, and TVs were available, as well as a good laundry setup. There were two outdoor eating areas with ample chairs. We enjoyed the large dining table for meals, visiting, and games.

Great house, has everything you need

The house and location are great. Very quiet with a nice view. It is obvious the owners also use their house, as it is fully stocked with all of the cooking equipment you need. None of the typical shoddy pots and pans that are all scratched up, sure there are some. but also several sized of cast iron pans, so cooking is no problem. The street outside is gravel with some pot holes, but really no access issues. On Guemes, you pretty much need to bring everything you want to eat. The store has a little bit and a small restaurant, but for the most part it is cooking at home. We particularly enjoyed the pool table and there were several comfy areas to hang out. Can't find a fault and would recommend this house to anyone heading there.

Holiday Getaway

The house & location were perfect for our family of 5 - could definitely accomodate a larger party. Any issues we had were addressed quickly by Chris & he was very helpful. We were within walking distance of 2 beaches that were both beautiful & fun for our dog, Roxi. The kitchen had all of the dishes & cooking items we needed for our week long stay which was nice. We loved the big table in the main room - perfect for the 1500 piece puzzle we brought & good for our many games. The card table downstairs was also used for card games & we enjoyed playing pool as well. Hot tubbing in the snow capped off our nice getaway.

Quiet & serene week

Lovely home for our family of 6 adults/2children. Beautiful views of the sound in a quiet secluded setting. House had all the cooking utensils you could want. Loved that! Only downside was the hot tub didn’t work well. Otherwise a great trip over the holiday!
