Welcome to CREEKSIDE CABIN! Located 1.6 miles off of paved road on a gravel drive. 4 Wheel drive Recommended and REQUIRED in certain months of the year! Cabin and grounds are amazing and so worth the trip! Escape Reality in this Beautiful Cozy Creekside Cabin on 1.5 acres! 2 Bedrooms, 2 Bath with a Sleeping Loft. Perfect for a family retreat of up to 6 people or even a solo trip! Talking Rock Creek is right outside your doors! Come to fish, hang out by the fire pit or even sit on the side of the creek and tan! Bring the Groceries and your favorite drinks, some fishing poles and a beach towel or chair and enjoy nature and each others company, without ever having to leave the woods! This amazing cabin is perfect for a weekend adventure! Whatever the adventure, you will be glad you found our cabin and will look forward to returning soon. Get ready to experience the majesty of North Georgia at this luxurious cabin in the woods. Cabin does come with Satellite TV but we do NOT have Internet service! So Unplug and Unwind!!

No refunds will be given for storms, inclement weather, power/utility outages caused by storms, downed trees or weather, or travel difficulty.

Jasper, (Pickens County) GA: host to MARBLE FESTIVAL ( 30/40 minutes)- 1st weekend of October and also many shops and boutiques.
Ellijay (Gilmer County) GA, the Apple Capital of GA. Ellijay also hosts the APPLE FESTIVAL each October (2 weekends) ( 1 HOUR DRIVE) and many apple houses to pick your own apples!
A little farther you have:
Amicalola Falls - Blue Ridge, GA - Dawsonville, GA - Dahlonega, GA - Calhoun, GA.
Each have their own attractions to see or do.
Antique shops, local Boutiques, fabulous Restaurants and Wineries all around!!

Perfect weekend getaway

This cabin was perfect for our annual Labor Day getaway with our friends and pups. It was great to be away from town. We enjoyed relaxing by the creek. Chrissy was a great host and was quick to respond with any questions. Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I stayed here over a few days in September. We absolutely loved the seclusion, peace, and cleanliness of the entire visit. I would also agree with the 4-Wheel drive suggestion. Our particular trip had us go on a few errands. Highly recommend getting there and just enjoying the area. The hosts were highly responsive and accommodating. Perfect getaway!

This property is beautiful! It’s very secluded and private. Although cozy the cabin has plenty of space. The best part of the property is the creek. The cabin was very clean and had everything you might need while cooking. I would like to visit in every season. I definitely recommend this property.

Perfect getaway

We loved this Creekside cabin! It was so peaceful listening to the creek, while sitting on the porch. The cabin was clean and well kept. The gravel road to get to the cabin was tricky with the rain we had. So I definitely recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle. We explored many hikes on Carters Lake, and went to to the Engelheim vineyard with our pup. Elijay is about 40 minutes from the cabin and has restaurants and shopping. We would love to go back to this cabin!

Nice relaxing stay

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin but it would've been better if their hadn't been construction going on across the creek, truck back up beeping and hammering all day but we sat out by the creek and relaxed and enjoyed it anyway. We didn't have 4wd and the forecast called for rain so we decided to check out the day before just to be safe . The cabin was clean and had everything you needed including firewood

This was our second time to Creekside Cabin and we just love it. Room for everyone, including our pets! The creek is just great, shallow and deep water, natural rock slide, small sandy beach area. Driveway is steep and we did need 4WD after a rain. Also bring all your supplies although there is a Kroger about 30 min away.

Amazing Vacation

We had an amazing 3 night vacation at this beautiful cabin! My husband and I sat by the fire while our 8 year old son played in the river. We brought groceries with us because it is a little ways from town. We will definitely be coming back but we will bring our 4-Wheel drive. The road was a little slick. The owners were amazing and very accommodating! Super nice and friendly!

45th Anniversary

Property was nice even after the hurricane. It took 3 days for the creek to go back down and clear up. 1.6 mile driveway was a real challenge. Guaranteed to loosen your fillings. Might be that bad because the hurricane passed only a couple of days ago.

Absolutely beautiful!

This property was everything I thought it would be and more. The cabin is absolutely beautiful! The drive back to the property was very hairy. We did not have 4 wheel drive and could not make it down the driveway to the cabin so parked at the driveway top of hill. I would definitely recommend 4wheel drive! Besides that, just having coffee and listening to the creek was so relaxing. This was an adventure of a trip ❤️

We had a wonderful time at Creekside cabin, it was perfect for my husband and I and our two large dogs. The cabin was very clean and did not smell like a dog friendly cabin at all. The creek in the back yard was amazing and there was a pool like area that my older dog was able to lay in and enjoy. The driveway is steep as others have mentioned, however slow and steady wins the race. We didn’t have any issues. It was kind of fun. We have 4 wheel drive but was also able to do it without. Chrissy was amazing and responded quickly. We had no issues. I was worried about previous reviews about multiple dogs coming up to the cabin and they were not able to let their dogs out. We did not have any visitors during our 4 days. We would love to stay here again.

A Soulful Retreat – Our Favorite Getaway

This was our second visit and it only reaffirmed why this place is one of our all time favorites. The description is spot on! No Wi-Fi spotty cell service! Exactly what makes it so special.My wife and I both work demanding jobs, and this cabin gives us the complete reset we need. It's peaceful, remote, and healing in all the right ways. The 4 wheel drive access is definitely recommended but once your there, the reward is the perfect location.Our days were spent down by the water, relaxing on the beach while the dogs played in the river. When the sun got too hot, we blow up our tubes and float without a single worry. Evenings were for the crackling fire, the sounds of nature, and total stillness.If you never truly disconnected, you owe it to yourself to experience this place. It takes a couple of days to fully settle in—but once it happens, you will feel completely free. We’ll absolutely be back again.

Amazing secluded and peaceful retreat!

This was a wonderful and clean cabin that had all that we needed. It was located in a very private area (the owner was not kidding when she said you need a truck, SUV or 4-wheel drive to get there). The river was absolutely amazing to listen to all day long. We enjoyed the fire pit. A hot tub would have topped it off! But other than that, it was a wonderful stay. We loved the beautiful architecture of the home, very homey and unique. We traveled to Elijay while we were there which was about a 45 min drive. We will def. be returning!

Beautiful and relaxing

The property is beautiful and quiet and we loved the river for its tranquility and refreshment in the heat. There was a neighbors pup “Conway” that was both an absolute joy but also a bit of an aggravation; mainly as he is a young Australian cattle dog which is very high energy and likes to nip and chew. Would not advise smaller children or pets to be around him. However we are great dog lovers and had a blast watching and visiting with him so did our large male dog. The house is cosy, no closets, but clean and the beds comfortable. The views from the porches beautiful looking down to the river. Loved hiking the road in, but it is not for the faint of heart. An all wheel or 4 wheel drive is a must. But if you want to get away from it all, this is the place. This is our second time staying here and will not be our last. Be sure to take extra paper towels and toilet paper if staying more than a few days. Drive to town is 30 min. Nice washer and dryer was great asset.

Quiet and peaceful

My wife and I own a construction company and need to get away every once and a while and this was a great place to do it! We were tickled pink to see how private the house is, and the sounds of the creek and nature are inspiring! We drive a 4 wheel drive F250 and I’m glad we had it! The road there is not for cars with a low stance! If you can get there, you can find a very happy place to get away from everyone! Load up on your Cokes and snacks, not a store for miles, and you won’t want to leave anyway!

Amazing, but heed the tips

Takes a hot minute to acclimate to the terrain when your are from the South. Definitely no cars unless you are looking to bottom out, but once at the property it's heavenly. Bring EVERYTHING... towels, wash cloths, dish towels, k-cups, coffee. Watch shortcuts on maps thru the gated neighborhood down the road, cant back thru if you catch the gate open. Deer and turkeys galore, the babbling creek was literally tubing in your own backyard. BRING Water Tennis Shoes!

Super Secluded!

We just returned from our stay and had a great time. Booked 3 nights and never left the cabin! We went looking for a few days to grill out, play in the water and enjoy our time together and that is exactly what we got! Our twin 8 year old girls stayed in the creek all day (along with our dogs). Great swimming hole, small rock slide and sandy beach all just a few feet off the decks. Water wasn't as cold as I expected for a creek. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware etc but bring all paper goods, spices, etc. On site laundry was nice to have. Drive in wasn't too bad, but we did use 4x4 even in dry weather. Host was great and easy to get in touch with. I highly recommend. Bring games and cards for younger kids.

A Blissful Retreat Away from the Chaos

First and foremost, we will likely be back again. We are avid VRBO’ers and travel 4x a year. The description of property is accurate – no WIFI and cell service is questionable. Verizon = 1 bar or none. My wife and I have stressful job and are always looking to get away from the hussle and bussle. This place forces you to turn it off. My wife and I were able to relax. We spent most of our days on the sandy beach area where the dogs would play in the water for hours. There is a hose on the front porch where you can easily wash your dogs before re-entering the cabin. We would wash them and let them sit on porch to dry. Sun comes out at 10 and stays on beach till about 5. We brought tubes and floated in the current and deep pockets. I’d wake up early and go fishing – caught a few bass and enjoyed the peace and quiet. This place is remote. The cabin was clean, and the kitchen has everything you needed. We read the reviews beforehand and stopped by ingles on the way in and brought plenty of food. Town is about 35 mins. We did run out of propane but were able to spark a fire with the ample wood available. We ended up cooking all our meals over a wood fire. It was nice having firewood available and flavor was amazing. 4 Wheel drive is not needed, but it was a nice safety net when it rained. Chevy Tahoe Chrissy the owner is very responsive and over the top nice. Thank you for opening your home this trip means more to us than you could know. Memories of a lifetime!

You will love this cute little cabin as much as we do! The creek rushes by your window and that is all you hear! Located at the end of a dirt road, you are secluded in this cabin! You can sit on the porches and watch the birds fly downstream or the otters play if your lucky! Perfect spot for morning coffee! Let the cares of the world roll off your back while you are here! Bring your fishing gear and fish off the bank just outside the cabin!

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with this cabin from the 1st moment we saw it, It is just peaceful and calming! We love the views you get from the porches! You can hear the water from any room in the cabin! It will make you feel like home! The drive is a little bumpy and you will probably need four wheel drive but OH SO WORTH IT!!!
