This secluded mountain cabin had everything we needed and more. The view was wonderful, especially with the colorful fall foliage and the stream on the property. The host (Darryl) could not have been more helpful and gracious! Loved our stay there and have already recommended it to our friends!

Cozy Cabin Stay

Wonderful cabin. Appreciate the thoughtful touches - esp. the wine and household good - which made our stay incredibly comfortable. Pleasant surprise compared to other cabins that are often bare. It felt like a home away from home. Owner had great communication.

Perfect

The cabin is exactly as advertised. It was clean and stocked with all the items needed for your stay. The host was readily available to answer all questions. We will definitely return for another visit.

Wonderful cabin in the mountains

We had a wonderful stay at the Edwards cabin. It was everything we were looking for our vacation in Talking Rock. It is conveniently located between both Elijay and Jasper so both towns were very easy to explore, as is the very cute town of Talking Rock. It had all the amenities you needed in the kitchen to prepare great meals - even a crock pot and Green Egg are available. The fireplace is amazing and firewood was provided which is a fantastic perk. Darryl couldn't have been a more accommodating host. He made sure we were happy and had everything we needed for a great stay. We will definitely be back.

Nice rustic cabin

We loved the fireplace and used it each day. The wood was stacked in a large wood pile next to the shed above the house, so easy access. The creek runs well below the house but it is not accessible from the house and you can’t see it. We walked around the neighborhood and found access through the woods so we did get to the creek. It is a very long hike to the creek though.My husband wanted to sit by the creek to relax but couldn’t so the description is a little misleading.We had plenty of towels and paper products to use during our stay

Everything we hoped for

What a gem! STUNNING view, easy to find and access, perfectly cozy, very private feeling but not far from town. We had a beautiful view of the sunset from the back deck. This is a wonderful place to relax and recharge. We hope to come back sometime!

Perfect Stay

This cabin feels like you’re staying at a friend’s place. A few of the best features include: Quality cookware Very well stocked kitchen Roku setup to cast Private Stocked to cookout The location is convenient to Jasper, Talking Rock and Elijay. Towels, washcloths, dishes and anything else you can think of is there. The owner is responsive but not intrusive. This is a wonderful place to stay. The view is amazing!

Mountain creek cabin

We had a great stay in this cabin. It was a cozy, clean and authentic mountain cabin with all the latest technology and gadgets. We felt right at home there. We enjoyed the large deck and the peaceful sounds of the creek that ran below the cabin. The owner was easy to reach by text and was very welcoming and pleasant. We would definitely stay again and would recommend this for couples or families.

We drove around in the Mountains alot taking in views, sights and local people. Property had alot of privacy and nice views. Cabin was setup well and very comfortable. Owner checked on us to ensure we were enjoying our stay.

Another amazing stay

This was our second trip to the cabin. The owner is such a great host! He made sure we had what we needed and even left a little something for us. The cabin is so close to hiking spots, wineries, waterfalls, and great views. Thanks again for a great stay at The Edwards Cabin. We will be back..

Jeep Getaway

Perfect accommodation for myself, wife and our our Yellow Lab. Great view from the back Deck. Plenty of privacy. Darryl the owner did a great job communicating with us before, during and after our stay. We will definitely be back!

Starry Nights & Great Sunsets

Beautiful back porch views from a relatively secluded cabin - very short gravel road up to driveway that most pax vehicles can handle in 'L' gear. Excellent owner response to any questions or if any potential problems may arise, though none occurred for us during our stay. Pet friendly; not needed in our case but keep in keep in mind if minor amounts of dog hair would be an issue. Location is northern GA; has a Talking Rock address but bigger town of Jasper less than 15 mins away for anything you may have forgotten / need to get. Log style cabin is beautifully decorated w/ 2 large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms ( one set being upstairs ) and a fully equipped kitchen. A great VRBO property for rest and relaxation and makes a perfect base for day tripping to nearby state parks, scenic drives and many small town Main streets. Easily a 5 star rating for our week's stay there. Planning ahead? - fall foliage can be spectacular in the property's surrounding area; even a side trip to the Great Smokey Mts NP is possible if you can handle another 2+ hour drive from there. Darryl was a perfect host, so can highly recommend!

Memorial Day weekend getaway

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our Memorial Day weekend at this cabin. The cabin itself is beautiful with a rustic/modern look and beautiful views looking out. It also has a well stocked kitchen with modern appliances. The view from both decks is outstanding and pictures do not do it justice! The town of Ellijay is close by and worth checking out but our favorite time was sharing a bottle of wine on the deck while cooking dinner on the Big Green Egg. The owner Darryl is great to deal with and it is evident he wants his renters to have a 5 star experience!!

Perfect cabin getaway!

My wife and I were looking for a cabin with a view and this place didn’t disappoint. Perfect location to go hiking or checking out local vineyards. Also, very quiet if u just want to chill and relax. We will definitely be returning in the near future. The Host was amazing with everything from set up to recommendations. This was a no worry relaxing trip.

Best Cabin Trip

I almost don’t want to leave this review because I don’t want others to find it! But that’s the point of sharing a great cabin. Darryl is an amazing host. Very responsive and accommodating. The cabin is phenomenal. The views are beautiful from the back patio. We will be coming back!

A Week in Paradise!

this spectacular cabin it's the perfect place to relax and have fun at the same time! It is perfectly maintained, and you have everything you need for a perfect vacation. Daryl, the host, it's a sweetheart, willing to help you in any way he can. The location, the views, everything is Fabolous. There are a few fantastic wineries nearby, small, beautiful towns, but believe me, we didn't want to leave the cabin! we were very comfortable. We really recommend it 100 %. We will definitely go back soon. Thanks a lot Daryl for a week in Paradise!

In my corporate career, I had always been required to live in a large metro area close to my office and an airport for work travel. Once I retired from the corporate life, I wanted to find a cabin in the mountains I could remodel with breathtaking views, a little bit of acreage (5 acres), and windows to let in all the light and beauty of the N. Georgia mountains...I've succeeded!
