The Summit Chalet is a 2BD/2BA condo at The Corral and is beautifully decorated with cozy mountain decor and a no fuss gas fireplace and radiant heat. A 5 min walk to the Quicksilver 6 Pack Superchair on Peak 9 or straight away to town allows everyone freedom of movement. No buses or gondolas required, but they are available. The private 5-person hot tub is situated on a spacious deck with a gas BBQ and great views. Put your car, skis, snowboards, bikes, snowshoes, kayak and any other toys you bring in your private heated garage. Owned and outfitted by a Colorado native to share with those who enjoy the adventures of the great outdoors. It's perfect for exploring Summit County and then relaxing after the day.

Free High-Speed WiFi (85Mbps) is complemented by a 60" 4k HD Smart TV w/ a Soundbar in the Living Room as well as HD TV's in both Bedrooms. The new full size Washer and Dryer in the Chalet is critical for dry ski clothes the next day or a mud-free Mountain Bike Jersey.

The Chalet is a larger 2BD at 1100 sq. ft. which makes it roomy enough for families or gatherings with old friends. The dining room table seats 8 comfortably for group meals and late night games or poker. A fully stocked modern kitchen with granite counter tops provides everything you need to Chef it up and dish it out. The Gevalia coffee pot can get the morning started right or use the Keurig for that special blend and easy late night tea.

Located at the south end of Main Street, all guests can also enjoy the large 12-person hot tub, fitness room, steam sauna, game room with pool table, foosball, air hockey, 55 inch TV, computer, printer, and lounge area.

No shuttles are needed but if you prefer to ride a bus the "Breck Free Ride" and "Main Street Trolley" stops are right outside.

Well equiped and cozy condo steps from Breck lift

The property met all my groups expectations. Came out for a ski trip weekend with friends and everyone loved it. A 10 min walk from Quicksilver lift at Breck was super convenient. Was able to walk into town a couple times very easily. Parking was super easy and convenient as well. Beds were very comfy and had plenty of extra pillows if needed. Three humidifiers were a nice touch. The hot tub was very clean and well kept. I went in every day after skiing during my trip. Nice way to wind down the day. There was plenty of pots and pans in the kitchen for cooking dinner. Showers were very clean and had good pressure. The always hot water was nice so didn't have to manage showers between everyone. Big Smart TV in living room worked great. WiFi worked well with about 8 devices connected. Super fast and did not cut out.

Kirk the property owner was super helpful throughout the trip and very responsive. He has a big manual with many tips and tricks but was able to reach out for advice on items not mentioned.

Would stay again and recommend to friends.

Perfect Place

Great location and walking distance to everything-shopping, restaurants, and skiing. Was really nice to come back to the place after a day on the slopes to a private hot tub. Didn't have to worry about sharing it with others. The garage to store your car and skiis was nice to have especially when it snowed. Had all the amenities and was overall a great place to stay for a great girls weekend! Thank you!

Close to the mountain. Loved the hottub.

We had a wonderful time. The place was very nice. We loved the hottub after skiing. Kirk had many recommendations and he was a great host.

We were a couple minute walk to the mountain and the rental place Kirk suggested was wwonderful because we did not have to carry our skis back to the condo.

A Great Stay

To simplify, I will list why the Summit Chalet worked so well for us:

-walk to lifts (peak 9)

-walk to town

-plenty of closet space: this matters when you’re hanging up all the snowboard coats and pants at the end of day

-plenty of space overall, so you’re not tripping over each other


-indoor heated parking spot

-hot tub right out your door

-Kirk is responsive and thoughtful. He wants you to have a great stay more than you do.

Perfect location for a wonderful property!!

Everything we needed was available at this property! Soft king masterbed, spacious bathroom. Full bed and a set of bunk beds gave lots of extra sleeping for others. Having a washer and dryer in our condo was wonderful plus another full bathroom with shower helped with extra guest. Plenty of chairs to sit and play games, eat or just visit. Fully stocked kitchen with all the cookware and dishes to prepare breakfast, bake cookies or grill steaks on the propane grill right out on our private patio. After dinner, it was relax time!! On this private patio is a 5 person hot tub!! Soaking each night in the cold air after our fun days was the best!! If you have a larger group, within about 20ft from the front door is the property hot tub that seats 25. The entire property was wonderful. Just across the parking lot is a full game room where we played pool and had the availability to workout if we wanted. A major plus to this property, the elevator is within steps from the front door!! Made is super easy to load and unload. Also, a single car garage made it real nice to keep my car inside along with one extra parking space outside the garage for our truck. We never drive once we arrived, the property is in a perfect location to walk to everything!! Kirk's hospitality at this chalet is top notch and we will definitely return!!!

Perfect location with great amenities!

I can’t say enough great things about Kirk and Summit Chalet - the location to Main Street is Perfect. We walked there daily for shopping and Gondola rides with our three kids in tow without a problem. The condo is also beautiful with all the amenities - it might seem silly but the number of towels stocked in the bathrooms was a huge plus for this mom. My kids loved the bunk beds. The TVs were great and there was also access to free movies available on Amazon Prime. And fast WiFi. I could go on and on. You won’t regret staying here - we will definitely be back! Thank you Kirk for a wonderful trip!

About Kirk Hanes

I was born and raised in Colorado and have skied, climbed, hiked, biked, flown, camped, and backpacked over most of this state and around the globe. Breckenridge is a special place created by the 1859 Pikes Peak Gold Rush and then re-established in 1961 as a ski area. I was 1 year old at the time and started skiing when I was 3. I've been leaving tracks ever since and know I can help guide you to the vacation memories you seek in the Rocky Mountains.

Why Kirk Hanes chose Breckenridge

The Summit Chalet is unique as it is situated on the South edge of town. Close enough to walk to the lifts or town and offset enough that you don't have the late night town party noise. I chose it because I can park my Jeep in the garage and do anything I want to do from my own front door. It's like being in Europe... automobile free.

What makes this condo unique

My favorite aspect of The Summit Chalet is the relaxation-factor. Sure it's close to everything and you can walk. But I can also crack out in the morning and hit the fresh snow while the kids sleep in. They join me later in the morning on the piste and if I'm done early I head home while they keep riding. No "group organization" needed to start the day or meet somewhere at a certain time. Everyone has freedom of movement and can move at their own speed. Including relaxing in the hot tub or on the couch while others scurry about.

My husband and I stayed at Corral 204E for our anniversary weekend. We were blown away by how beautiful it was! We felt like we were in a home away from home. The decor was stunning and we were pleased with how pristine and clean each and every room was. We also really enjoyed the hot tub! That was a great addition. We were also pleased that we had a conveniently short walk to Main Street, where there are several wonderful restaurants and shops. We highly recommend this Corral 204E unit, whether you just want a nice getaway, or you plan on hitting the slopes!

The Breckenridge Ice Rink is two blocks away.

The Breckenridge Recreation Center is a 5 min drive or bus ride. The 69,000 square foot facility offers a variety of athletic and community activities rarely found in a community of this size. In addition to a gymnasium, the facility contains indoor tennis courts, lap and leisure pools, a water slide, a racquetball court, basketball courts, indoor rock-climbing wall (top rope, bouldering and lead climbing), an indoor track, weight training and cardiovascular equipment, aerobic/dance studios, a sauna, spas, a pro shop featuring swimsuits, tennis equipment and guest merchandise, and a community meeting room and kitchen. Outdoor amenities include lighted softball fields, a soccer/rugby field, playgrounds, public restrooms, basketball courts, four clay tennis courts, four hard courts and a lighted skateboard park which includes a nine-foot-deep bowl. The Recreation Center is open to residents and visitors daily.
