This newly renovated 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with a 2-person sleeper sofa in a bonus room/office sleeps up to 8 guests. This makes it perfect for larger families, friends or couples traveling together. Enjoy the large flat screen TV with DIRECTV in the comfy living room, cooking in the spacious kitchen or sitting on the wrap around deck with your favorite drink of choice and let the kids play in the large yard which also offers a gas BBQ for use.

The location is perfect for visiting the quaint mountain town of Cashiers with local stores and boutiques as well as outdoor activities such as hiking, golfing, waterfalls, skiing at Sapphire Valley Resort in the winter, renting a boat on Lake Glenville, fly fishing, Blue Ridge Parkway or the Great Smoky Mountain National Park (about 1 1/2 hours). From mid-October through early November you can see the famous Shadow of the Bear off Highway 64 on your way to Highlands. The shadow appears around 5:30pm for about 30 minutes on sunny days.

This property is one of the few vacation rentals right in the town of Cashiers. The complete upper level is for your use - surrounded by one acre of grass and wooded area with a stream along one property line. Our own property management company office with separate driveway and parking is located in the lower level of the building and closed on weekends. It is usually very quiet and doesn't have a lot of traffic.

Incredible home in a great location

We stayed at this property for New Year's. There were 2 families (4 adults and 3 children all under 6 yr old) and it was a perfect fit! We were close to the Sapphire Ski Area, so we attempted to go tubing both days. (Unfortunately, the line was too long so we just hung around the resort) The kitchen was amazing but there are also great take-out options close by. The owner thought up nearly everything for guests: high quality linen and towels, every kitchen appliance including a Kureg, and even a closet of toys and board games. The accommodations were immaculate and perfect for families. We are already planning our next trip! Highly recommended.

Just like home!

We really enjoyed staying at this property, and regretted not staying longer, but maybe next year. The place is very recently renovated, and (except for not having a garbage disposal) the kitchen was better equipped than the one we have at home. The owner/operator was also very responsive. We definitely would stay there again if we plan to visit the area.

Spacious, airy, charming, convenient, and very comfortable!

I could not believe my luck! I found this gem by accident and will definitely return. Everything is updated with a calming color palette throughout. Isabelle was a wonderful hostess and provided all the necessities before our arrival. Loved being so close to the shops, yet, fly fishing and hiking were close by. Cashiers is a lovely and welcoming area without the congestion. The only thing I regret was the short stay.
