We loved our stay! We booked the house for a weekend at Monarch - 2 adults, 1 kiddo, and 2 doggos. The house was perfect - great bedroom set up, the kitchen was stocked, lots of games, and ideal location. The house fees loved and well cared for, not a typical stale rental. We will absolutely book again. The driveway is steep and a challenge in fresh powder, but we were prepared thanks to the reviews and had no issues. Book this home, you’ll love it too.
Lodging was beautiful and location was perfect.Didn't get an opportunity to use the Sauna. Inviting.Hill that brings you to the lodge will be challenging in the snow for those without 4 wheel drive or chains and parking can be tight for 3 or more vehicles Hope to return next Fall

Thank you for visiting Monarch Crest Chalet. We are so happy you enjoyed your time at this property! We hope to host you in the future!
Second time to visit the cabin and with the exception of the steep driveway, it is a wonderful retreat! Being able to bring our small pets with us makes this a 5 star cabin for us!
2nd time we have stayed there. Close proximity to all things outdoors in Colorado. We appreciate the opportunity to stay there while in Colorado.
Thanks!
Overall a wonderful place to stay while skiing/snowboarding up on the divide at Monarch. This space feels right at home and is nestled back in the Garfield neighborhood with privacy and beautiful views.
I would highly recommend and we're planning on coming back for years to come!

Thank you for staying with Pinon Vacation Rentals. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to hosting you again in the future!
Great, comfortable house with great access the both San Isabel (technically right out back yard) and Gunnison NF, with many opportunities for fly fishing. Highly recommend this place. Its also right down the pass from skiing if you like that too.
This house is a great place to stay for skiing at Monarch. Well situated well stocked. Being able to drive home for lunch made for some cost savings at the slopes. Finding it is a bit difficult due to Google Maps not being accurate but we made it.
You will enjoy your stay here.

Hi Nathan,
Thank you for the review! Glad you enjoyed your stay. Just wanted to let you know that we included detailed driving directions in our check-in information with instructions to make sure to print them off because GPS does not work. We do this for all of our properties. If you stay with us again, make sure to read the check-in information. Apologies that you had trouble finding the home.
We came out from the Midwest for one last ski trip. Had a good time and enjoyed the home.
The snow removal guy did a nice job of cleaning up the heavy snow.

Thank you so much Wayne! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We hope you come back again soon!
This is a great place. The cabin had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed( even a coffee grinder). Beautifully decorated. Washer and dryer were nice to have. Great little hiking trails for kids in the neighborhood. Amazing views from the multiple porches/decks. Will come back!!!
Very peaceful setting and well appointed home. Grew proximity to Monarch ski area and Salida. Chains are needed to access in the winter, though we’re able to get to the bottom of the driveway without them. Worth it for the solitude!
This house worked great for us for skiing at Monarch. We were told that we needed 4 wheel drive or chains to get up the driveway and that was correct as at first we could not get all the way with 4 wheel drive. The staff at the management company was very responsive and helpful
We were surprised to see the location is close to Monarch Mt.! The home was beautiful on the mountain and very nicely kept and clean! There was a lot of snow when we arrived Feb. 15-19th, 2023. The roads were plowed 2 times when we were there. We had no problems!
It was a quiet location and sledding was fun!
The Sauna was nice after our ski days!
