Beautiful Place; Very Clean; Quite Accommodating

  • 5 of 5

I hope that I can go back. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It is in an excellent location (although it is a little tough to find at night) and in beautiful shape. Although we didn't have that many people, it would be perfect for a large family.

Cozy Ranch cabin

  • 4 of 5

We love The post office ranch! It has beautiful views, houses many people comfortably, and has that mountain cabin feel. For guests trying the find the ranch, it can be a bit tricky as the sign by the road is hidden and there were no light on it at night. Dean is more than willing to help with anything needed and was prompt in returning messages before our stay. We would and have gone back to this rental and recommend it to others!

A Great Weekend

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time on this property (last time we stayed in the other cabin).

Once again, we had a wonderful time, staying in this beautifully appointed cabin, surrounded by spectacular scenery.

Highly recommend.

Perfect weekend getaway

  • 5 of 5

The host was excellent in communicating instructions regarding the property. The cabin was clean and maintained well and was absolutely beautiful.

We enjoyed both exploring the acreage along the river as well as trying our luck fishing for rainbows in the nearby pond. They’re huge!

The property’s close proximity to Salida made for quick trips to check out restaurants and breweries, which capped off the weekend perfectly.

Thanks for the memories!

Peaceful and Relaxing Retreat

  • 5 of 5

Dana and Dean were wonderful to work with and have two gorgeous cabins with top-end finishes on their ranch. The cabins are spaced apart and provide total privacy with expansive views! Although near hwy#50, the traffic noise is practically non-existent.

The location is very central yet secluded:

2 miles to Buena Vista and 24 miles to Salida. Plus, Mt Princeton Hot Springs Resort is approx. 20 min. away.

We will definitely return to Post House Ranch to explore alll that this area of Colorado has to offer.
