lovely Tuscan home !

We loved our Tuscan holiday home. We found it perfect base to explore from ie Florence Pisa and a great place to chill out and relax in. The children loved the space to run around in the garden and we could even pick cherries from it!

Excellent in every respect!

We had a wonderful week in your house, which was very comfortable and clean. It's everything the photos portrait, with a beautiful garden and a great view over the surrounding countryside. Montespertoli is within easy access to Florence, Siena and the other fabulous towns in the neighbourhood. Thank you very much and we would love to visit you again.

Perfect for viewing hill towns

Property is lovely with olive trees and nice view. Antonio was very pleasant and offered good suggestions. I would suggest a bit of coffee to be part of welcome package.

Wonderful holiday!

We spent two fantastic weeks in this wonderful flat! Thank you, Antonio and Silvia, for your hospitality! Especially for providing everything we needed for our little kids and the tasty food from your garden :). This apartment is perfect, if you want to explore wonderful Tuscany (nearly every major city is one hour away by car, but you also can spent a peaceful day in the olive tree garden).

Loved our stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Antonio’s place. He was very welcoming and helpful. The house was very comfortable for our family of four and had everything we needed for our 4 nights there. The location was excellent and easy to get around with our rental car- 30 minutes from Florence, 1hr to Pisa, wineries nearby. The best part might have been the view, the idyllic Tuscan rolling hills are a feast for the eyes as you sit outside, or even inside. Small towns are nearby for essentials and restaurants. I highly recommend staying here.

Great stay at Antonio and Silvia's place.

We had a great stay at Antonio and Silvia's place. It's everything the photos portrait and more. It's very tranquil with an awesome view of the Tuscan country. Antonio and Silvia were great hosts. Always willing to help but never intrudes. You do need a car to get around but this is Tuscan country so that's expected. Highly recommended!

Fantastic vacation object,

This lovely house, situated on a great property, with a gorgeous view over typical rolling tuscan hills, left nothing to be desired. We were hostet by a wonderful family, which has been of great support, not even in regards of surrounding exploration targets, also organizational help in terms of travelling questions, and so much more. Lovely Tuscan holiday home

This property is beautifully situated in a peaceful spot in the Tuscan hills yet close to all amenities such as shops, petrol stations and restaurants. It is also well placed for trips to Florence, Siena, Lucca and other tourist destinations. The house is very comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The garden has lovely far-reaching views out across the hills to the mountains beyond. The owners, Antonio and Silvia, whose home is adjacent to the property, are extremely welcoming and, while discreet, are always only too happy to help when needed. They are also most generous in their gifts of wine and produce from their own garden. We must also mention the local restaurant, the Podere Torricella, which is a 5 minute walk away. The food is really excellent and at a very reasonable price, as is the wine from their own vineyard. The delightful lady in charge speaks English and there is also an English version of the menu available. We enjoyed it so much that we ate there twice during our stay. All in all a lovely place to spend your holiday in Tuscany, highly recommended. Mille grazie, Antonio e Silvia!

A Magical Stay in Tuscany

Distant views of olive groves and vineyards. Misty cool mornings, listening to church bells and birdsong. THIS was our home base in Tuscany that we were lucky enough to have discovered. All of the photos and descriptions do not do justice to this beautiful villa 30 minutes outside of Florence! Close to the tram, which brought us into Florence 4 times during our incredible 2 week stay we also took advantage of our rented car to drive the beautiful scenic roads to nearby medieval villages and spectacular Cinque Terre on the Mediterranean. Our hosts, Antonio and Silvia, who live next door, were welcoming and friendly without being obtrusive, in any way. We asked them about local festivals, hot spring spas, wineries, etc and they directed us to the most un-touristy fabulous spots! The house and property has everything you would need, including comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. We loved the huge two French arched, doors, leading out to the garden and the Tuscan views! We enjoyed bread and cheese and wine at our private home base most evenings before going out to local amazing restaurants for dinner. (Don’t forget to check out the spectacular sunsets at the front of the property on your way out to dinner!) Thank you Antonio and Silvia for our magical stay at your beautiful Tuscan property!

A beautiful view and authentic Tuscan experience

This place was amazing! The beautiful view out the windows and the old world style home made this a comfy slow paced alternative to our Rome and Naples trip. Antonio the owner was extremely helpful and gave us great suggestions on where to eat and things to do. The full kitchen allowed us to make some spectacular food with the beautiful Italian ingredients that can be found close by in multiple towns. This was our favorite spot so far on this trip and we would definitely return if we are back in the Florence area again. Some tips for the next American guests. 1. Italy in every location we have been to seems to prefer firm mattresses, this one is no exception. 2. Recycling in Italy is much more involved as everything is separated, luckily Antonio helped us with this figuring it out. 3. If you do laundry in Italy realize that most places do not have dryers and air drying your clothes could take a few days depending on the weather. 4. The restaurants do not usually open on Monday and Tuesday so they should be cook at the VRBO days in my opinion. 5. The restaurant Podere Torricella was spectacular and only a 1 minute walk from the house. The Tuscan steak is 1 kilo which was a lot for us, but they gave us a to go bag and we remade it into another meal the next night. 6. If you rented a car, which I'm sure you did if you are staying here, the roads are curvy and what looks like a 1 way street is actually both directions, so get a small car. 7. Bring cash to pay for heat and taxes.

Frühstück mit Rehen

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Beim Frühstück sind sogar Rehe durch den Garten gelaufen und immer mal wieder eine Fasanenfamilie...Natur pur. Wir konnten herrlich entspannen. Unsere Gastgeber haben uns gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurantbesuche gegeben...sie sind sehr nett. Wären gerne länger als 2 Wochen geblieben :-)

Wunderbare Tage in der Toskana

Der Start war direkt perfekt. Antonio und seine Familie sind tolle Gastgeber. Das Haus samt Garten war sehr großzügig. Durch die große Essküche mit den schönen Fenstern, hatten wir wunderbare italienische Abende, auch bei dem noch teilweise frischen Aprilwetter. Das Haus war ein prima Ausgangspunkt zu unseren Ausflügen zu den „Klassikern“ der Toskana. Herzlichen Dank für die schöne Zeit

Très bon accueil, conseil pour les courses... logement très propre et spacieux. Proche des villes à visiter (Florence, Pise, sienne, 45mn à 1 heure de route). Confort apprécié seul point négatif en hiver froid et chauffage en supplément vite couteux. Doit être agréable l'été car jardin verdoyant et jolie vue.

Ruhig in schöner Landschaft

Entspricht der Beschreibung, viel Platz in der Wohnung und grosser Garten. Sehr netter Vermieter,der auch viele gute Tipps gibt. Auf Nachfrage wurde auch gleich reagiert und eine weiter Bettdecke bereit gestellt. Für Empfindliche: Die Matratzen sind sehr hart. Verbindung nach Florenz:25 Minuten mit dem Auto ( Gratisparken) und dann noch 20 Minuten mit der Tram bis ins Zentrum Fazit: Empfehlenswert,würde nochmal buchen

Herrliches Ferienhaus in der Toskana

Wir haben hier als Familie mit unseren 2 erwachsenen Söhnen unseren 2-wöchigen Sommerurlaub genossen. Das Domizil ist ideal für Landschafts-, Natur- und Kulturliebhaber, die die unterschiedlichen Facetten dieser herrlichen Kulturlandschaft und die nahegelegenen Kulturmetropolen erkunden wollen: Es liegt mittendrin und ist gleichzeitig ruhig gelegen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist geschmackvoll und unaufdringlich, so dass man sich wohlfühlen und entspannen kann. Hinzu kommt ein großer Garten, der sowohl viele sonnige als auch schattige Plätzchen zum entspannen nach den täglichen Abenteuern bietet. Mit etwas Geduld lassen sich hier auch die unterschiedlichsten (kleinen) Tiere beobachten. Viel Erfolg! Unsere Gastgeber waren gern bereit uns wertvolle Tips und Empfehlungen für unterschiedlichste Entdeckungen in näherer und weiterer Umgebung zu geben - auch kulinarische :-). Man sollte die Gelegenheit nutzen und seine Frage auch stellen. Wer kein Italienisch kann, kann seine Fragen bei Silvia und Antonio auch sehr gut in Englisch stellen. Was uns im Unterschied zu anderen Häusern auch als sehr positiv aufgefallen war, ist das ausgeklügelte Belüftungskonzept, besonders der Schlafräume in der oberen Etage. Alle Fenster sind mit praktischen Insektengittern und Fenserläden geschützt und die Zimmer verfügen über große flüsterleise Ventilatoren, welche nachts für super angenehmen Schlafkompfort sorgen und tags die Hitze draußen lassen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unsere Wahl! Danke Silvia und Antonio! Das war ein toller Urlaub und Ihr hattet einen bedeutenden Anteil daran. Gern und guten Gewissens empfehlen wir diese tolle Unterkunft weiter!

Ce gite calme, à la fois en campagne et proche des plus beaux sites Toscans, idéal pour une famille

Quel plaisir de visiter les plus beaux sites de cette région magnifique, sous les conseils avisés de Silvia et Antonio, sans oublier son adorable maman. Le bonheur également de se retrouver dans ce gîte calme après l'agitation touristique de Florence ou autres sites. Une vue magique, entourée d'oliviers, face à un champ de tournesols fleuris le tout complété par les collines au loin. La maison, de construction ancienne laisse place à la fraîcheur le soir malgré les températures élevées de ce début du mois d'Août 2018.
