Smuk udsigt lige fra åbent koncept boligareal eller på det rummelige bagdæk. Beliggende i Camp Ellis, Saco, (sydlige kyst af Maine). Ocean ejendom nær mange attraktioner for familie og sjov. Denne dejlige meget rene året rundt hjem er 900 meter fra 7 miles af smukke strand. Tilføjet Plus - det er lige så tæt på Saco-floden - du kan sætte din kajak i højvandet lige fra slutningen af ejendommen ind i flodvandet mosen. Et stort dæk, med et hjørneudsigt over Saco-floden. Den afskærmet veranda er god aften at slappe af eller nyde den udvendige ild på dækket med åben ildsted. Fyrværkeri tæt ved hver torsdag. nat i sæsonen. Lille hav samfund kun få minutter fra forlystelser, vandrutschebaner, vandreture i statsskoven, og abe reb eller stille gåture til Marina eller General Store. Marina, fiskeri og havne krydstogter en kort gåtur væk. Ocean Beach, flod aktiviteter og udsigt, skove og underholdning bedste af alle verdener til ferie.

Such a perfect home for a weekend getaway! In such a great area of Camp Ellis, walking distance to the beach and the general store that has the best breakfast sandwiches. Bonnie was a delight to communicate with about our stay. Looking forward to visiting again! Thank you for allowing us in your home!

Amazing Stay

From the moment we entered this cozy cottage it felt like a home away from home and our worries washed away. It was incredibly tidy and so well organized. We loved every minute of our visit. Our daughter loved that we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. We love the convenience of the Camp Ellis Store, the Lobsterman, Huot’s and incredible beaches and views from the nearby docks and fishing. The amazing lemonade stand next door was a fun addition. We enjoyed quiet time on the porch and dinner on the deck with the beautiful view of the marsh. We left feeling refreshed and grateful.

Lovely place for a week at Camp Ellis

Home was beautifully updated and clean. Had all the amenities we needed. Walking distance to cute local store and beach. We love visiting Camp Ellis. We had a great stay and will definitely be visiting again!

Nicely renovated Camp Ellis

Our family had a great stay. Very clean and nicely appointed home that fit our family of four perfectly. The home is well cared for and the owners’ thoughtfulness shows; everything has its place and clearly labeled. Location is in a friendly neighborhood close to a beach that is great for kids and only a short drive to restaurants in downtown Saco and Biddeford. Would recommend!

Peaceful escape

The host was wonderful and accommodating. The property was perfect for a quiet getaway with a small baby as we spent most of our time in the house! Very close to the beach which was also very convenient.

Great neighborhood!

Beautiful, clean house in a great community. We enjoyed the back yard and took lots of walks to the jetty and beach. The kids loved the spiral staircase with their comfortable room upstairs. Definitely recommend!

Camp Ellis House

Great location with proximity to beach, jetty, store and restaurant. Caught trolley to Old Orchard right out front door. Clean house that was great for our family of four. Camp Ellis is great place.

Perfect out-of-the-way spot

The house is beautiful and had all the essentials plus a few bonus items like bikes and a fire pit! Walking distance to a general store, the beach, and Huot’s. OOB and downtown Saco is just a short drive. The back deck is private with an amazing view. We would definitely stay here again!

Cute quaint beach house that is close to the beach with a great view of the bay. House was easy for kids and adults to enjoy. We visited the quiet beach close by and also drove up the coast to a larger beach with all of the typical boardwalk like amenities.

Perfect cottage walking distance to beach!

We had an amazing family vacation at this wonderful cottage. You can walk to a great neighborhood beach and the Huot’s seafood that has awesome lobster rolls and live music! Also very close to Funtown Splashtown and Aquaboggan which is perfect for the kids. Cottage is very clean, updated, with a great deck and fire pit. Also has some childrens books and games. Definitely will be back! Thank you Bonnie for being a fantastic host!

Our Maine Getaway

The host - Always available to answer questions and got back to me right away. She was always helpful and gave us great information about the house and surrounding area. Easy to work with throughout the entire process. The house - The house was clean, beautiful, and perfect for a family of 4. Just enough space for everyone and it felt like being home. The beautiful back deck is great for relaxing while watching the all of the birds around the property. This house has everything we wanted and we really loved how everything was clean and new! The neighborhood is also great. Minutes walk to the beach, the dock, and the restaurant. We could also bike ride to many other attractions and other beaches. Perfect location! We loved everything about our Maine getaway and will definitely be coming back to this house!

Beautiful cottage, perfect get away!!

We were so incredibly grateful to have stayed at this beautiful cottage. It was the perfect size for our family of three! It was just far enough away from OOB that we felt we had privacy and access to uncrowded beaches, and close enough to spend our rainy days in the arcade, exploring the shops and walking along the pier! We could take a short walk to go parasailing and access one of the best seafood restaurants I have ever eaten in! (Shout out to Huots! ) The property itself was impeccably clean and ready for vacationers! It was incredibly easy to make ourselves at home! We brought a small travel corn hole game and made use of the backyard. But there were also bikes and a fire pit that we could have easily used as well! The outdoor shower has hot water and was spacious, making it very easy to rinse off after a day at the beach! Thank you so much “G” family! We cannot wait to return!!!

Good Week!

House was clean and comfortable. Very well maintained. Hosts we're very friendly and helpful. House is in a good location, easy to walk everywhere and nice view from the back deck. Cozy screen porch for relaxing at night. Beach easy 5 minute walk. Could walk forever on 7 mile beach...nice and wide, great for playing. Cool water, but it's Maine! :) Would def. recommend. House is located on a bit of a well traveled corner and it was noisy until about 10pm with cars and occassionally very loud motocycles going thru area. If you're not early to bed, this is a great space. Visit Huots for take out and the general store for cooked lobster to bring home and eat on the deck. Very relaxing and just ideal for wonderfully lazy vacation!

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! It's very cute and nicely updated. We needed to rent 3 cottages, in addition to the family place, in order to house all of us. This cottage served as the morning and breakfast spot for part of our group. Beautiful outlook over the marsh. The kitchen is well outfitted, though there are a limited number of drinking glasses, and NO wine glasses at all, so bring your own, or be prepared to buy. We didn't eat dinners there so it wasn't a problem for us. Also, no hair dryer, if that matters to you. A common theme for rentals in this area is that you have to supply your own linens, or pay for a set from a vendor. DK why so many folks do that, but for us, coming from the West Coast, bringing bed linens and towels is out of the question. We rented them, which is fine, but truly, Saco is the only place we've rented via VRBO which requires you to bring your own linens. One thing to note is that the two twin beds upstairs are accessed by a narrow, but fairly easy to use, spiral staircase. I'd not have any small children there who might need to come downstairs in the night. Kids10years and older are probably ok. Cute space though!! Beds were all comfy. Owner very responsive to all inquiries. Loved the front and back porches! Thanks for the nice stay!

BEWARE AND BE FOREWARNED TO STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS RENTAL!!

Flip to another rental ASAP! This house is not as it appears. You do NOT have access to a washer or dryer at a BEACH! Expect to pack, bring or stop and buy toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, hand soap, dishwasher tabs, etc. Common items you may have seen in other rentals are NOT here. Even bringing your own sheets and towels is not enough for this rental. Expect it to not be thoroughly clean when you arrive. Bring your own firewood and cleaning utensils for the grill as well. Honestly, it would be easier to list what it doesn’t have. We rented this not being told that the outside shower was not in working order or usable. The water heater is limited to 1 10 minute shower OR dishwasher. No joke on this - nightmare with children after a day at the beach!! Full of spiders, large ants and other bugs : in need of spraying. The house didn’t appear rented since 2017 when we arrived and it hadn’t been aired out, dusted or cleaned in that time. Very close neighbors to the left of you on the deck with no privacy fence while old wrinkly people lay out tanning. To the right is an empty broke up lot with an old large boat in disrepair being worked on at early morning hours with VERY salty language and loud music - enjoy this while you cook- out with your children or try to sleep in. Or just don’t - we didn’t. Also enjoy mornings woke up to hundreds of elementary students walking in the backyard marsh area on some sort of field trip 2 days in a row. So expect NO PRIVACY here!! The owners aren’t much help either but will cut you a ‘deal’ supposedly if you private message them versus going through this apps fee. Overall, it’s inconveniently located and too small for this family of 4. Kids room upstairs if you can call it that is barely enough room to sleep. There’s no side table in the bedroom downstairs and really I’d called it a closet since it’s literally a bed with a rug at the end and 2 lamps on stands that doesn’t work unless the lightswitch is turned down. All switches are backwards in the house. The deck outback looks nice but that’s just the flooring they spent money on as the important banister is rotting wood. The entryway has the largest area of the entire house with expensive wicker that couldn’t be more uncomfortable. Don’t get cozy here because the owners expect you to recycle, clean thoroughly better than when you found it and REGARDLESS will keep your security deposit. I don’t mean clean and tidy after yourself, I mean scrub it down

Camp Ellis - Sacco River

Beautiful, clean and neat beach house. Owner is a wonderful person that made sure we had everything we needed. My family and I had a fantastic time in the area. We couldn’t be happier with our stay. It rained a few days while we stayed but the house was so complete we felt like we were home. Thank you so much.
