This condo was renovated by us so we could see the ocean from the bedroom. It is on the third floor (no elevator). It is up four sets of stairs. It has parking space for two cars. It is a modern unit. It is quiet here away from the Pier and the Park.

The first bedroom has an open floor plan to the living area. It does have curtains to close of the space, but no privacy wall. We installed new chocolate espresso kitchen cabinets, chrome granite countertops, with chrome faucets, new pewter maple flooring, a fireplace, new tile in the entryway and bathroom, new lighting, new windows, curtains and blinds. The condo has stainless steel kitchen appliances.

The first bedroom has a queen bed and looks out to main the living area to capture views of the ocean, Palace Playland and the fireworks. It has an air conditioner. The second bedroom has three twin beds and a large closet, fans but no ac. There is one full bathroom but, no washer and dryer at this time.

Sunset Terrace overlooks Memorial Park. From the living room you have a beautiful view of the fireworks over Palace Playland on Thursday nights. The ocean is behind the Playland and is visible from the kitchen, living room and one bedroom. This building is one street away from Orchard Street so it is walking distance to the beach, the Pier, the Playland, all restaurants, and the shops. It has two parking spaces.

This property overlooks the parks and has an ocean view. It is fun to watch the rides and the fireworks at night. It is a great location only a short walk o the beach.

  • Studio bedroom is not soundproof. We removed wall so we could see the ocean view from the bedroom. We have curtains hung for privacy that can be closed at night. This room has a small dresser, two end tables with drawers, and a closet with lots of hanging space.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean and everything we needed was already there. Every facilities were at walking distance and the beach was 2 minutes walking !

Great location/very nice condo with lots of space!

We just got home from spending the last week in this unit and are already counting the days until we go back (next year). We had never been to Old Orchard Beach before and boy were we surprised at what a great vacation spot this was, especially with our kids (ages 2 and 5). Our first impression as we were driving to the unit was we couldn't believe how close this unit is to the strip. You are literally one street to the left of the strip that has tons and tons of gift shops, places to get food (pizza, ice cream, fries, seafood, etc.) and restaurants. Each place had happy hour specials and there was live music. There are so many bars so if you have a babysitter there is plenty to do as far as the nightlife. You are only a 5 minute walk to a carnival with a large arcade and then the beach. We brought a beach buggy so we piled everything in (cooler, toys, towels, beach boards - even our 2 year old). it was very convenient to walk to and from the unit to the beach which we did multiple times a day. Breakfast and dinner we ate in the room. They have everything you need - I actually over packed because I didn't think they would have things such as vegetable peelers, pasta strainers, can openers, measuring cups/spoons. They even had containers for left overs. They have a very large island (big enough to seat 10 comfortably). We enjoyed our meals looking out the window at a playground directly below the unit, the carnival rides but most importantly the beautiful ocean. It was as if you were on a cruise - all you saw going out was beautiful ocean. You are so close to where everything is that you hear the screams on the roller coasters. You are also only a short walk to Pirates Cove mini golf and the trolley stop (only $2 for adults for 1/2 ride which the kids loved). We had perfect view of the fireworks on Thursday (absolutely no obstructions). Although this unit is on the 3rd floor the stairs are not bad (both my kids walked up and down them). The beds were very comfy, the unit was a lot bigger than it appears in the pictures and the couches were also very comfortable. We loved the bar stools (we are actually going to purchase them). If you have never been to OOB we strongly encourage it, but most importantly, we recommend this rental property. it was very clean and we definitely felt at home. My kids also loved the train which we saw/heard from the unit. Thank you to Karen for opening your home up to us and we will definitely be going back next year.

Wonderful Condo close to the beach

My family of 4 had a wonderful vacation in OOB. The condo was beautiful and completely renovated. Tracy and Kara provided all the linens, towels, utensils, plates etc so we had the comforts of home. You can see the beach and boardwalk from the condo and we even watched the fireworks from the condo! The condo was in close walking distance to everything. This was huge because we never had to pay for parking and walked to the beach every day! The owners thought of almost everything and we were sad to leave at the end of the week. We would not hesitate to stay here again when coming to OOB.

Thank you for choosing to stay in our condo. We have attempted to make the condo comfortable and clean for your stay. This is our newly renovated home so we ask you to treat it carefully.

Wifi internet instructions are on the TV stand in the living room.

We recommend unlocking the door and placing the key in the lockbox during your stay so that is does not get locked inside the unit.

You have been allotted two parking spaces labeled 9 for condo unit 9. Please do not occupy other spaces in the parking lot or the owners will call the tow company at your expense. There is metered parking spaces on Staples Street for your guests.

We require that our guests keep noise contained to our unit and respect the interests of others at the property. We request that you obey all applicable laws regarding the use of alcohol and legally controlled substances.

We are happy to thoroughly clean the condo, however we ask that you wash and put away any dirty dishes before you leave and take out any excessive or smelly trash. Please leave the key outside in the lock box when you leave.

Check-out is at 11 am. Please text me your intended departure time so we can drive-up to clean. If you are running late, please notify me so we are not waiting awkwardly outside. It takes us 3 hours to clean before new guests can check in at 3 pm; often times guests arrive early and want to check-in before we are finished, so if you know you are leaving before 11 please make sure to send me a text. That would be helpful.
