This property was well-loved and maintained. They thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Plenty of room for family visitors to come for a meal and hang around the firepit to catch up... and plenty of parking area at the property. The views were amazing for new mornings and evening sunsets. Highly recommend!

The views of the mountains were amazing and the location was perfect for adventures in Blowing Rock and Boone. Would definitely recommend this cabin. The host was very personable and welcoming. We are looking forward staying there again soon.

Our stay at Breathe Easy was amazing. The cabin is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The views are amazing endless and the yard has something for everyone. Wonderful stay in the mountains

We really enjoyed our short stay at the cabin. The views were amazing. We made a camp fire and enjoyed the outdoor play area for our kids. Would definitely come again!

We had never visited this area before so were trying to find a centrally located house between all the little towns we wanted to visit and this location was so great for that! The cabin is atop the steepest driveway I’ve ever driven on, if it was winter time I think I would have been terrified lol! But the driveway is cleared and well maintained and the views from the cabin are incredible. The cabin was so clean and well stocked, there was nothing we needed that it didn’t have. I brought extra towels, trash bags, toilet paper, etc. and only had to use the toilet paper. The outside was so beautiful and fun for our kids. The front porch views and fire pit were well utilized.We loved reading the story typed up inside on how the cabin came to be, it is truly an incredible story and makes the cabin all the more special. Our only disappointment is that we left fishing poles that were expensive and it seems we won’t be able to get them back. I don’t prefer staying in VRBOs managed by companies vs individual people and I didn’t realize this until after I paid that this property was. Regardless we had no issues and would 100% stay here again.

Great location and good mountain view

The cabin was very cozy, clean, and in a great spot for mountain relaxing. We enjoyed how close to downtown it was. I would highly recommend staying here. Our hosts went above and beyond to make sure everything was OK.

This place is great! It’s a beautiful house that sits on top of a mountain! The views are breathtaking and the property has a ton of stuff for the kids to play on. There’s a game room with foosball, air hockey, and ping pong. We were there for a week to ski, and it was super easy to get to sugar. About a 20 minute drive. It’s a perfect place for a family of four. We’ll be back!

Most beautiful and relaxing home/setting you will ever stay.

The cabin was everything we could have hoped for. The setting is absolutely stunning and there was so much for our kids to enjoy both outside and in. We have stayed many places and this is by far our favorite stay ever.

Great getaway location

Terrific place for a family getaway. Outdoor play area and basement games were a huge hit with the kids (5 and 8). Peaceful location close to hiking and a few charming towns.It's worth noting that the upstairs bedroom isn't completely closed off from the downstairs living area, so we upgraded the kids to the master bedroom to help bedtime go smoothly.Definitely would stay again!

Perfect Family Getaway

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Breath Easy! The cabin is truly perfect, we have 3 young boys, and they had the best time, and I am sure it is a vacation they will remember forever. Every detail is thought out, and the owner is so kind. The location of the cabin is also really nice, with only being a short drive to town. We hope to be back one day!

It was absolutely magical. It was a beautiful view however the interior of the cabin was just amazing. The work that went into this cabin was meticulous and so well done. We stayed 4 days which wasn’t nearly enough. We hope to return for at least a week. I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay and Russell and Christy were amazing.
