This large, two-story, detached traditional family house features four bedrooms (2 upstairs, 2 downstairs), 2 bathrooms, a downstairs rec room with a large screen TV, an upstairs living room with a TV and sliding glass doors off the kitchen to the back deck. 1 King Bed room, 1 Queen Bed room, 1 Room with 2 twin beds, and 1 room with blow up luxury queen bed. We have Apple TV with access to Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Netflix, as well as local stations such as ABC, NBC, CBS, & Fox, but otherwise we do not have Cable TV programming. The large deck has a table, 4 chairs, a gas grill and overlooks a big, beautifully shaded backyard. The landscaped backyard is a little haven to escape into, whether you are enjoying cocktails amongst friends and family or playing soccer with your kids on the green grass. It also has a sandbox, play house, swing, play fort and vegetable garden. The front yard is shaded by an beautiful silver maple tree. Underneath, an off shoot stone path leads to a bench with views of Boulder's famous Flatirons. It's our favorite little escape for lounging, sunrise coffee-sipping, or simply for 'watching the world go by'. Across the street is a elementary school with 2 playgrounds, 3 baseball fields and paths for walking or riding bikes with the neighborhood kids. These bike paths lead you to almost anywhere you'd like to go in Boulder, including downtown Pearl Street, the Farmer's market, our neighborhood Park East Park and more. A tastefully decorated and well-stocked home provides Guests with all the living essentials for their comfort and convenience. It is furnished to accommodate couples, teams, and multi-generation families with ample room for everyone to spread out and feel at ease. The excellent location with easy access to bike trails, family parks/playgrounds, is ideally suited for a retreat, for college visits, family holidays, or for your special family reunion. This is primary home, and we ask you to treat it like your own. Kindly remove shoes when entering, no smoking, and no pets (although we do have fish). Rental License number RHL2016-00500. The maximum number of unrelated individuals permitted under Boulder County Law is 3, but can have up to 7 related family members.

I was born and raised in Seattle, WA. I caught a travel bug after college and have been traveling and working in the travel business since then. My wife was born in Colorado Springs, daughter of an Air Force father. Traveling world wide with her family since she was 3, she also caught the travel bug early on. Excellent stay! Beautiful, welcoming home and responsive owner
My family stayed here for a week, and I highly recommend this property and working with this owner! They were very responsive through the HomeAway messaging system, and went the extra mile to provide some non-advertised accommodations for us, as we were traveling with a one-year-old child. I really feel the owners went out of their way to see if there was anything they could do to make our stay more enjoyable (though, of course, these are bonuses that can't be expected).
When we arrived, there was a space to park in the driveway, and plenty of parking on the street. Everything was in order with the exception of one small issue with the keys. (We were still able to enter the house unhindered.) We had been provided a phone number to contact in case of any questions, and the matter was quickly resolved to my satisfaction. The home was professionally cleaned for our stay. The interior of the property had many elements of home, but they also took care to store away most of their personal belongings in clearly marked bins in the closets so that you didn't have to guess what things around the house you could touch or use. The TV and wifi Internet worked reliably throughout the week.
We appreciated the personalized welcome note that the owners wrote to us, as well as the binder of recommendations and policies. Plenty of fresh and plush towels, little bars of soap and bottles of shampoo, facial tissue boxes, tea bags in the kitchen, and other little touches that showed that they take the task of hosting guests seriously. We also enjoyed using the fully-equipped kitchen. Since we stayed for a week, we were grateful for the self-serve laundry room.
One thing to note is that this house is not wheelchair-accessible, and you must be prepared to take potentially slippery wooden stairs upstairs or downstairs immediately upon entering the home. Our family with a baby and two grandparents managed just fine.
In conclusion, this property had just about everything we were looking for in a vacation rental as we explored Boulder and I'm very pleased with our experience!
