Overview

About the property

We have a beautiful home available in Central-West Boulder at the corner of 7th and Pleasant Street. We are about five blocks from Pearl Street, two blocks from hiking on Flagstaff Mountain, and a short walk to the University of Colorado. The house is stone downstairs, with a huge fireplace and a central room for hanging out with a large television, piano, and view over a garden lot to the east.

Bedrooms: The house has three bedrooms upstairs: one with a queen, another with a full, and a third with a bunk bed that is full-sized bed below and twin above. We also have a study downstairs with a full-sized loft futon and adjoining bathroom.

Bathrooms: One full-bath upstairs, and one bath with a shower near the loft downstairs.

Other Things: The house is child-friendly - you’re welcome to use our toys, bikes, scooters, basketball hoop, x-box, and sandbox. We also have a great patio with a grill that looks out onto an undeveloped lot with a mature garden. It is charming for entertaining and hanging out.

Rates: We have listed weekly rates. We generally have a four-night minimum and will have slightly higher rates for high demand times (holidays, graduation, etc.).

Very charming unique home and welcoming hosts

  • 5 of 5

Everything about this home is charming and welcoming including the hosts. We arrived to a very nice note from the owners welcoming us. The house was very clean and stocked with everything you'd need. I highly recommend staying here if you are in boulder.

Awesome Country House In Boulder

  • 5 of 5

We spent a long weekend in Boulder with our kids and this house was an amazing find! Although you are situated in Boulder, it felt like we were in the country. We even saw a bear one evening! Excellent neighborhood, walking distance to Pearl Street, CU Campus and the river. The house is really charming and spacious and the kitchen was set up for entertaining. Will rent this spot again!

A great location but uncomfortable living

  • 3 of 5

This is a good place to stay for a young family. It is close to shops and hiking and the University. There were six people in our party, including a teenager and two senior citizens. We were there for a family reunion. The kitchen was well stocked but only accommodated two people at a time, max. The stairs to get to the bedrooms were steep and difficult to manage for the older members of our party. Three people in our party agreed that the beds were very uncomfortable, more like futons because they needed box springs. The furniture in the living room was also such that it was uncomfortable to sit for any length of time. We enjoyed the grill and the outdoor area off the main floor. The owners were easy to work with.

Owner's Response: Hello So sorry you didn't have a 5-star experience! You're the first person in seven years! We work extremely hard to make everyone's stay special, and we have never had a complaint about steep stairs or beds (all of which have relatively new mattresses). We hope you enjoyed the bikes, tree house, complimentary gourmet coffee and wine -- and we wish you the best in your future travels! Best, Colleen and Jeff

GREAT Location

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this property while in Boulder for a softball tournament. The location is great. While one of us had the rental car, the others were able to easily walk to restaurants, a grocery store, and hiking trails. If you didn't want to walk, the owners had bicycles available to use- enough for all five of us to bike. The house is really eclectic and very welcoming.

The owners had available for us to use a fully stocked kitchen (spices, some condiments), laundry soap, body soap, and even a Nespresso maker WITH coffee pods! How much more welcoming can you get!

Mornings were wonderful- open the doors and sit in the shaded yard sipping that wonderful coffee. In the evenings we sat outside and lit some the candles available for ambiance. At any time of the day, the yard is wonderfully shaded.

The area was very quiet, and we had a wonderful trip because of our experience with this rental property. The owners truly open their home to you. This is more than just a "house" rental , it's a "home" rental. In my opinion, that is what made our stay even better than expected.

Great for active families!

  • 5 of 5

First of all, the owners are wonderful! Very considerate and helpful leading up to and during our trip. The house is exactly as advertised, full of character and charm. The space worked very well for 4 adults and 2 kids. We walked or rode bikes everywhere and never used a vehicle for around town. If we ever have a need to stay in Boulder this will be our first choice.
