We live in an area that is mostly flat, and while we expected mountain hills the drive in was a bit more curvy than we were expecting lol, especially at night. But we adjusted well! My boys loved seeing all of the deer so closely, enjoyed the river, campfire and hot tub. We did day trips to Amicalola Falls and Blue Ridge along with a full day of fly fishing. A great trip all in all!

Was so happy when i walked i to the main kitchen level and saw how beautiful it was. We used the basement only to carry stuff in. It smells so bad down there, could smell it up on main level with door closed, we were all sneezing due to allergies. Rest of house was really great. Absolutley Loved the setting with the heautiful view and sound of the river and privacy. Getting there from the front gate not so fun of a drive, yikes. We were in town for a wedding so were back and forth alot.

A piece of river front heaven

My family rented this home last year and we had a ball. We like the privacy of the dead end road with plenty of room for the family and SUV’s. We tubed, fished, mini golfed, enjoyed the jacuzzi and explored the area to see all the woodland creatures. My family and I love seeing all of the deer and how (almost) tame they are. Again, this was our second time staying in the home and we absolutely loved it. We can’t say enough good things about the home and the area

Family Getaway

This was the perfect location to have a long weekend with our adult children. We brought our own floats and tubed on the river. We found a park drop off about 5 minutes away (by the bridge) and had the best time. We enjoyed all of the amenities with the hot tub and fire pit. I would stay there again.

Perfect Family Getaway

The perfect balance of country living with modern amenities. Even though it rained most of our week there we stayed busy in town and comfortable in the cabin. The lower level with air hockey and ping pong was clutch. Very sad to leave. Can't wait to come back.

Beautiful Surroundings!

A Wonderful retreat! The surrounding property offers so many activities on-site. From cooling down in the river, to swinging and enjoying sunset, the firepit, the deer, the geese, hot tub time, etc.! There is plenty to stay occupied directly on property. The house itself is a perfect mountain escape!

Cabin was beautiful and pet friendly. However cabin needs a deep cleaning. Cabin was over all clean, but is was dusty which gave us all horrible allergies.
