Relax and get away from it all in this luxury riverfront home! The Dragonfly Den is an absolute dream of a space with activities and leisure for everyone. The outdoor area has a wonderful blend of activity and leisure. Relax on outdoor furniture under the flamelight chandelier in the gazebo at the waters edge. Maybe take a nap in the lovely cotton hammock or swing at the rivers edge with that special someone. Bring everyone together with a fantastic games area.
The space
My wife and I poured our heart and soul into creating a wonderful destination for you, your friends, and loved ones.

No other riverside rental can hold a candle to the activities and environment we have created for you to enjoy! Lighting, activities, decorations, and general ambience were all given special attention. Even the location itself was chosen due to the ability to actually "experience" the river should you choose to do so. It's fairly shallow with an adorable rapid right off the bank that you can play in or just listen to the soothing noise that you can't find at many riverside homes. The local wildlife is quite interesting and you are guaranteed to see deer and Canadian geese enjoying the river and it's surroundings. There are also blue and white herons that hunt the river along with the occasional hawk. Blue birds also typically nest in the birdhouses in the backyard in spring and early summer. Fish for trout off the bank or wade into the river and fish.

No longer will you have to settle for a simple fire pit and deck by the side of the river. The outdoor riverside activities include a dedicated, well lit, 400+ square foot synthetic turf game area for year round fun where you can play bocce ball, bean bag toss, and just really any outdoor tossing games. There's also a horseshoe court.
The gazebo has outdoor cushioned furniture and is lit by a medieval style chandelier filled with flame light bulbs to create a relaxing flickering candlelight atmosphere right by the river. There's a lovely painted swing by the river to relax in and a picnic table to pile your bountiful meals and snacks on. Several high backed chairs with cup holders are also provided so you can gather wherever the activity is at the time. Even the wifi is setup to have high speed internet all the way out into the river if you want!

We incorporated the products we love into this home such as a Komodo Joe (green egg style ceramic grill), touchless kitchen faucet, an electric kettle, dual purpose Keurig, and bidet's on all toilets. We love the family room sofa because it provides a great place to gather and relax. It creates a wonderful inclusive social environment that really adds to the experience of hanging out together with friends and loved ones.

The sitting room in the master bedroom is absolutely fantastic. You can lounge around in the day bed with a great view of the river or work at the desk while keeping an eye on little ones in the back yard. It's my absolute favorite place to work.

The loft was setup to be a semi-private 3rd bedroom and the drapes can be expanded to totally enclose the space for privacy. We also installed drapes in other areas where you might like a little more privacy once in a while.

This is not your typical bare bones sparsely decorated and equipped cabin!
You'll find a starter kit of toilet paper, paper towels, and kitchen trash bags. We provide a new kitchen sponge, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, dryer sheets, fabric softener, and laundry detergent.

In addition to a fully stocked kitchen, you’ll find the following pantry items: Coffee filters, sea salt & peppercorn grinder, sugar, and a spice rack.
Hand soap provided for each sink, along with hotel-sized shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, and a hair dryer in each bathroom.

Twin is in the sitting room through master bedroom and has drapes that can be pulled shut to create a semi private 4th bedroom, though you have to go through the master to get access it

The loft pull out sofa and trundle can be fully enclosed with drapes to create a semi privet 3rd bedroom.

The Cleaning fee is higher than normal because it includes a $40 fee the Coosawattee HOA charges home owners and VRBO doesn't allow it to be shown separately.

Requirements:
This is a no smoking property
No pets, guns, fireworks, parties, re-arranging of furniture
No placing any trash or items in indoor fireplace (no roasting marshmallows inside)
Only wood may be burned in fireplace
ONLY toilet paper may be flushed down toilets (no "flush-able wipes" or feminine hygiene products, etc. can be flushed as this home is on a septic system)
Do not put food down kitchen sink drain
