Complete renovation inside and out. The setting on Bass Lake is beautiful & relaxing. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and feels like new inside. Bass Lake is a 365 acre all sports lake. The morning sunrises are perfect as you drink your coffee from the screened in lakeside porch. Grill your favorite foods right from our back deck, or visit the many local restaurants. Smart TV,Wi/Fi, washer/ dryer/air conditioning. Walking Trail right out the door just steps down the quiet road. You will be close to wineries, breweries, local shops, several golf courses, downtown Traverse City and the iconic Village at Grand Traverse Commons. Sleeping bear dunes National Lakeshore, Lake Michigan, Leland, Frankfort, Crystal Mountain are just minutes away. Just 10 min to all Traverse City has to offer, yet swim, fish, kayak from your personal lake house. Plan on enjoying beautiful Traverse City on gorgeous Bass Lake!

Please do not park in any of the grassy area. We have a drainage system through out the yard that could get damaged. Don’t park past the large Stone.
If you use the grill, please clean it. Scrape down wipe down. Thank you

We had the most wonderful stay. The home was clean and the property was beautiful! We explored nearby towns and the kids had an excellent time out on the water! Bass Lake was stunning, especially during sunset/sunrise. The Hosts were exceptional! We cant wait to hopefully come back!

This place was fantastic! It is only 10 minutes from traverse City, but you feel like you’re very secluded. We loved the kayaks and all of the amenities. The lake is absolutely beautiful and clear. We enjoyed grilling and the awesome kitchen where we made several of our meals. This cottage has been completely updated and was very comfortable and inviting! There are also so many fun things to do in the surrounding area. We also enjoyed a couple of fires at the fire pit. The screened porch was a huge plus for us as we loved getting up in the morning and watching the sunrise with our coffee. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

We enjoyed our stay in this very cute and clean cottage with pretty views of Bass Lake. The living room/open kitchen area, screened porch, and master bedroom are spacious. The other two rooms are cozy and well appointment. The bathrooms are clean and have good showers. We had fun with the kayaks and paddle boat, and swimming in the lake. Dean and Renee are very responsive hosts. It's also a good location from which to visit nearby sights like amazing Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Good ice cream places nearby.

The house was just as advertise. Located right on the water. They had kayaks we used and a peddle boat was also available. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and silverware. We had a lovely stay and would stay again.

Wonderful September mini vacation

We had great weather and were able to take full advantage of the kayaks and rowboat. The cottage was clean and well equipped, including wood for a fire. There was a spectacular sunrise to start the day. We will definitely be back.

Come enjoy our Lake House : ) We have just completed a complete interior renovation July 2018. We were fully booked last summer, most bookings and reviews through Air B&B.

Why they chose this property

Bass Lake is a 350 acre all sports lake but is peaceful and scenic. You will love the location so close to Traverse City.

What makes this property unique

Brand new interior is clean & comfy ( new LVT flooring through-out, new stainless steel appliances, quartz counter tops & tiled baths )
The lakeside screened deck is just a wonderful space to enjoy.
The neighborhood is safe and quiet. Near the end of the lake road so no traffic sounds just local paved road usage.
Ideal location to do a variety of afternoon or day trips then come back to a relaxing view of the lake.
