About Danny and Joni Scott
My husband and I were married in August of 2006. The day before our wedding my husband agreed to purchase (without telling his future wife) this house from his family. In October of 2006 the purchase was finalized, and we began renovations! Our first weekly rental reservation was made in the mist of the renovations February 2007, at that time we had no windows in the house. The reservation was the driving force to complete the renovations in just 8 months. My husband Dan was born and raised in Northport, and I grew up in Northern Michigan, and moved to Northport in 1998. Danny has owned his own business since 1999 as a Builder, and I am the Village of Northport Elected Clerk since 2010. We have three kids, twin daughters and one son.

North port stay
Enjoyed the property. House is well maintained comfortable.
Wonderful family weekend celebrating our son's wedding at Willowbrook Mill
LOVELY home with all if not more of the amenities of home. The kitchen was amazingly stocked with everything one would need. We were all impressed with the beautiful decor the cleanliness of the Beach House! We highly recommend the Beach House!!
Beautiful home with terrific location in a wonderful town
My family stay at this home was a wonderful experience. It had a great location in Northport with access to the park and water across the street. And located so close to stores for board rentals and groceries was a big plus.
The home itself was very nicely furnished. One suggest to the owner would be to put more hooks in rooms since there were no closets to hang clothing, a minor problem easily remedied.
In closing, I would definitely rent this home for a future vacation in upper Michigan, away from busy and crowded Traverse City.
Absolutely the perfect place for our family!
We've been coming for 7 years and can't imagine staying anywhere else! This year we were pleasantly surprised to see 2 paddle boards and 2 bikes were available for our use and we put them to good use! Being right across the street from the public beach is so convenient for all of our water and beach activities. You can't go wrong choosing the Beach House for your vacation in Northport!
Great location across the street from playground, beach and marina. Less than 2 block walk to resta
We live on a boat in the summer and rented this property so our family ( San Diego and Chicago) could spend some time with us here in "Pure Michigan"! They all loved the house and our time together. Our California grandchildren, who are 7 and 5, really enjoyed the spacious back yard as they live in a townhouse with only a small common area.
We have already made plans to schedule another visit!
The Beach House and the town of Northport are a perfect combination!
The Beach House is very comfortable and accommodating for me, my children and my grandchildren. Located across from a large playground, beautiful sandy beach and a weekly farmers market and music, it doesn't get any better! The uptown is also within easy walking distance for groceries and great food! We love it!
