Enjoy the beauty of the North Georgia mountains while taking in the charm of Helen without breaking your budget.
Our Bear Paw Cottage is reminiscent of the motor court of the past and offers level parking, which makes this cottage great for motorcycle enthusiasts or people who want to avoid a cabin with a lot of stairs.
With a king sized bed and a sleeping loft with a double sized mattress, our studio-style Bear Paw Cottage comfortably sleeps two adults and two small children.
Enjoy relaxing on your private swing on the cozy covered front porch listening to the birds serenade you in the peaceful outdoors.
Visit one of our many great restaurants in town or cook a delicious meal in your cabin's well equipped kitchenette!
We also offer a common area with gazebo covered picnic tables and charcoal grills so that you may enjoy more of the beauty of our mountains.
Roast marshmallows or have a sing-along by the large Firepit area or just relax and star gaze!
Free firewood provided for firepit....DO NOT USE INDOORS!

The cabin is small but very cute. At first I was worried as the cabins were closer to the main road than expected but the is no much traffic and it did not really matter. The first night we cooked in the BBQ in the back and it was fun. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is minimal for us (we like to cook) but we were able to make some nice meals too. We would stay there again.

Cozy stay

Stay was okay, the only thing I would say is it could have been a lot cleaner, lot of dusk and a few spider webs, kids was afraid to sleep in the loft, we all cuddled in the King size bed, but they loved the hot tub, the neighbors wasn’t nice, my wife said they said something racist about us, I will stay again, we can’t control the way people think.

A beautiful and quiet stay

We had plenty of privacy and quiet and it was nice and isolated. We hardly ever saw anyone else out there which is exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon. It was by plenty of trails and rich scenery, not too far outside Helen. 2nd time we've stayed there and we will be returning. Housekeeper was nice when we met her. Only complaint we had was the ceiling fan didn't work.

Took grandson on vacation since school is out & we had a blast. Although the cottage was tiny, invested with spiders, dirty. The hot tub was full of dog hair & trrash to the point me & my husband couldn't enjoy it. There was no way a person could get comfortable and soak in such filth. Still we made the best out of it & enjoyed our grandson. I was bit 4 times by spiders & have been sick since i left

Straight to the point here. Communication was excellent. Cottage location was excellent as it was very close to the action of Helen and far enough from the craziness of the NY crowd. Cottage was very clean and well kept. Hot tub was very clean and well maintained. As I was leaving, a gentleman with a kind smile asked how the visit was, and we let him know how excellent it was. If you have a big family, the cottage would be too small. But if it’s just you and your spouse or a small family, they are perrrfect. They even have an extra bed up the ladder close to the ceiling. We did not use it, but that looked like it would be a lot of fun for some people. We enjoyed our visit here very much, and I highly recommend this cottage to anyone. Thank you Penny and the gentleman with a kind smile for a wonderful stay.

Clean, Comfortable and Cute!

We stayed in this cabin for a girls weekend and it was perfect! The hot tub was sparkling clean and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and they even provided firewood for sale in the room for the fireplace. I would definitely recommend this place and I hope to be back soon!

Excellent cabin

This was the PERFECT place for my daughters and I while we were up in the mountains for a wedding nearby. It was comfortable, Penny and her team were amazing lovely hosts! We will definitely be back :)

We loved our time in this sweet little cabin! It had every thing we needed and was such a great “home base” for all of our daily adventures! Love the location and the privacy. Perfect comfortable space to rest up between adventures too!

Weekend getaway

We loved our weekend getaway at our cabin! Honestly had worried about our one year old coming because there wasn’t much open space inside for him to run around but it was perfect. I had accidentally mixed up our check in dates, so we arrived a day early but the owner let us check in early thankfully. We also left an item by accident after check out so we called and she had no problem with us coming back to pick up the items. Definitely would stay again!
