Ren and Jim Evanoff
About Ren and Jim Evanoff
Hello! We are both retired National Park Service employees. Jim is still a wildland firefighter and Ren is an artist. We live on 3 acres of beautiful land just off the Yellowstone River. Ren is an avid gardener and Jim can build just about anything. We have two cats and a precocious mini golden-doodle.
Why Ren and Jim Evanoff chose Livingston
This is the most beautiful part of the state and the name Paradise Valley is a true reflection of this piece of paradise. We are close to wonderful attractions, great restaurants, the park, the river, Mill Creek and photo ops galore.
What makes this Studio unique
Very close to river and creek access for fly fishing. We also have a unique knowledge of the park.

Wonderful place in a beautiful area
Drove up to a friendly dog and a beautiful setting. Easy to find. Then we met Jim and Ren. Friendly hosts and beautiful people. They had great recommendations for our daily hikes and sight seeing. We laughed and felt like we were with old friends. If you are thinking of going to Paradise Valley Montana this is the place to stay. Its the perfect base camp for so many excellent outdoor adventures
Lovely resting spot in the Paradise Valley
We enjoyed resting in the loft that has been lovingly created and adorned by Jim and Ren. Fabulous views of the mountains! It was very pleasant and peaceful, and everything was top notch. It is conveniently located close to outstanding restaurants and the Emigrant General Store. Those looking for exceptional food can dine at the - Yellowstone Valley Grill or Chico Hot Springs restaurant in minutes (reservations recommended, though!). There are plenty of casual dining options: Pine Creek Cafe is one of our favorites, offering something for everyone. The shower is outdoors, but more deluxe than any outdoor shower we've seen and there are a couple of places nearby where you can enjoy showers and hot springs: Chico Hot Springs (tokens provided) and Yellowstone Hot Springs.
A couple of things to be aware of: as noted, the accommodations are up one flight of stairs. Tall people will have to stoop in places. We're 5'6 and 5'11 and we'd go back.
The tenants were amazing and offered anything if we needed it. Definitely well stay again if we're in the area.
This place is just spectacular! Great views, friendly owners, and very close to Chico.
Sara thanks so much for taking the time to do this. Come and stay with us again. Best to you.
