Lake Sequoyah Cottage is a charming house located directly on this beautiful quiet Lake. The house is situated at the end of a private drive and is only 1.6 miles from Main Street, Highlands. The Lake frontage includes a large private dock and a fire pit area. The Lake is perfect for swimming and fishing, and a canoe is provided for added fun. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the open porch while watching wild birds and hummingbirds using the feeders. Watch beautiful sunsets from one of the porches, from the dock, or even from inside the hot tub on the lower patio!

This home offers a main level living area with a den, gas log fireplace, flat screen TV, DVD player, game system, and an enclosed sunroom with a view of the lake.
The Master Bedroom has a King bed, a flat screen TV, and a wall of windows facing the Lake. The Second Bedroom has a Queen bed, a flat screen TV and a granite counter top and sink. A full bath with a shower/tub is in the hallway.
A few steps down from the den is the Great Room featuring a vaulted ceiling, beautiful stained-glass windows, a gas fireplace, an open kitchen with granite counter tops and all modern appliances, a large flat screen TV with a DVD player, comfortable seating with a large eating/game table, counter seating, a full bathroom, and sliding glass doors opening onto an open porch with bird feeders and a view of Lake Sequoyah.
The upper level has a small loft and a private Loft Bedroom with a Queen bed, a half bath, and a small balcony with a Lake view.
The property features high speed Wi-Fi, satellite TV with movie and sports channels, a land line telephone and a game system (PS4). The lawn and private dock are great areas for grilling out (gas grill provided) or enjoying the hot tub on the lower paved patio. The laundry room is in the lower level. Your pet is welcome too! [All of the homes managed by Highlands Vacation Rentals have wifi internet access(speeds may vary based on different providers), basic kitchenware & dishes, linens provided, and a starter set of amenities including: 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom + A set of personal shampoo, conditioner, hand & body soap (also per bathroom), 2 paper towel rolls, a few kitchen trash bags, a kitchen sponge, some dish soap and a couple of dishwasher and laundry detergent pods. ]

CANCELLATION POLICY: Our cancellation policy (effective for bookings confirmed after April 1, 2024) is outlined below:
For reservations that are 21 days or less, A reservation cancelled ( by email receipt ) between 0 - 45 days prior to arrival is not eligible for a refund. If reservation is cancelled more than 45 days prior to arrival, guest shall receive a refund of all payments made* less a cancellation fee of 10% of the total cost of the reservation AND the cost of any trip insurance if purchased.
*Refunds do not include third-party service fees as those are determined by the booking site and we do not control how those funds are processed.
For any reservations that are more than 21 days, No refund will be given unless the property is re-rented over the previously booked dates.
