La nostra casa per animali domestici e, la gente ci dice con le loro meravigliose recensioni, molto affascinante e accogliente vecchia casa sull'isola - con la recente designazione storica - si trova a pochi metri dal bellissimo sentiero di 100 metri dalla spiaggia ed è a soli 20 minuti da Charleston. Attrezzatura da cucina e da pranzo, articoli di carta, un sacco di sedie a sdraio, zattere di boogie board, un barbecue all'aperto, asciugamani, lenzuola, lavanderia.

Sullivan's Island è attraversata dall'Inland Waterway da Charleston con terreno semi-tropicale, ampie spiagge sabbiose, la storica Fort Moultrie, una vivace e variegata area ristorante, campi da tennis pubblici e un parco giochi vecchio stile con gazebo tribuna.

La maggior parte degli animali domestici è accolta calorosamente!

Andare a pescare, pescare, andare in kayak, andare in canoa, fare windsurf e navigare nell'oceano o nelle insenature e insenature che conducono alla navigazione interna. Sullivan's Island è il sito di romanzi di molti autori famosi: Edgar Allen Poe (The Gold Bug), DuBose Heyward (Porgy and Bess) e Pat Conroy (The Prince of Tides).

L'ampio portico schermato con mobili in peluche funge da seconda zona giorno. Una scala a chiocciola alla fine del portico conduce alla terrazza sul tetto con comodi mobili da salotto e splendide viste a 360 gradi dell'isola e dell'oceano, se gli alberi del Palmetto e non hanno bisogno di tagliare !!!

Old home

Very old home in need of repairs. Found bugs in kitchen and there was no washer/dryer as mentioned in the listing. The location was great- quick walk to the boardwalk and beach. Kitchen was very well stocked.

Great family vacation home

Although the home was rustic...the location was superb. Easy walk to the beach where we walked twice a day. Plenty of room to hangout - loved the screend in porch. Rachel was super helpful with details before we arrived.

Wonderful House on Sullivan's Island!

The property is perfectly located near the beach and only a few blocks from the restaurants and shops on the island. Perfect 4BR 2 bath house with a very warm and cozy feel. The owner is a delight to communicate with and the overall experience was wonderful and enjoyable.

We had a wonderful time at Rachel's house. She is an excellent hostess, and the house was very thoughtfully stocked. Books, coffee filters, a screened porch with seating for all - what more could you want for a reunion of friends! Short walk to the beach. Our family will be back

Exceeded expectations!

The place looks great in the photos, but the historical detail and charm are even better in person. Super comfortable, tons of attention to detail. A loved house with a lot of character, if you go for bland and sterile, look on, this place would be wasted on you, I will definitely be back ❤️

a relaxed, homey vibe

We had terrible weather during our stay so we spent more time in the house than anticipated and it was wonderful: comfortable, relaxed and we felt right at home. We cooked lots of nice meals in the fully stocked kitchen and enjoyed the roofdeck when it was sunny and screened in porch when it wasn't. The island is fantastic and really easy to navigate, and our dog loved playing on the beach which was a very short walk. We would love to go back!!

Welcome to Paradise

We had a wonderful spring break on Sullivan's Island and Rachel was the kindest, most accommodating host we have ever met. Beautiful roof deck. Well stocked kitchen with every need provided for. Stunning beach steps from your door. Large bedrooms with the most comfortable beds that I have found in a HomeAway stay. Looking forward to our next stay with Rachel on Sullivan's!

Sullivan’s Island historic house

Classic historic island house (upper part of a duplex) - weathered and charactered on the outside, warm and inviting inside. Well stocked with everything we needed. There were some minor repairs needed but nothing that impacted our enjoyment of the house. We loved the screen porch. Easy access to one of the best dog walking beaches anywhere. Interesting walkable neighborhood. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Building Memories

My family had a lovely vacation at this property. We had four generations together! My 85 year old Mother simply loved her naps on the front porch with the ocean breeze. I would imagine if the walls could talk, there would be some grand stories of past visits to tell. Sullivans Island at its best! We all hope to come next year.

Perfect Location!

What a perfect location on Sullivan's Island. We had a short walk to the beach and rode bikes all across the island. Rachel was such a gracious host, communicated well, and was extremely flexible with us. The house is quite old but I believe the listing reflects everything accurately. We stayed with our two children (5 and 2) and our nanny and it was plenty of space.

Perfect for our family

We loved our stay! We enjoyed the screened-in porch, which was perfect for our 18 month-old. She loved the quick access to the beach, which we were thankful for as well. Rachel, the host, is so kind and accommodating. It was great to have sheets and towels already there, and we loved the access to beach chairs (and even a wagon). We would love to stay again! We had everything we needed and more. We stayed with my husband’s parents and his brother, along with my husband and my child, and we all enjoyed our stay. It was perfect for all ages!

From the moment we pulled in our stay was magical-like a jasmine scented dream that you don’t want to wake up from-the screened in porch was a spacious and cool gathering place, but the rooftop deck with its quirky staircase took it all to another dimension ~this felt like an old family home, rich with personality and history rather than a sterile rental. The boardwalk to the beach was accessible and delightful. Maggie was a pleasure to communicate with . We four old friends give the whole experience it five stars and eight thumbs up!

Convenient place in SI

Great location, love the view from the top porch, love the big screened in porch, AC excellent in hot & humid weather. Excellent communication with property owners. One recommendation - each shower needs a grab bar plus a hand held sprayer added to the shower heads. It was not easy to bath a 3 YO with the existing high placed shower heads.

Fantastic!

Rachel, the owner of this historic home was very accommodating and welcoming! Her communication with me was outstanding. The beach is gorgeous and open to dogs off leash in the morning, leashed the remainder of the day. There are many dining options on Sullivan’s and Isle of Palms and if you’d like to take in Charleston’s charm, it is a short ride away. Boone Hall Plantation is close by and provides very interesting history of the plantation and surrounding area. Hope I can come back next year! Thank you Rachel!
