This home was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the location so much, our kids had a great time. We were at the beach every morning and the convenience of the home being so close made cleaning off an easy task (with kids). Perfect for teens too, my daughter loved playing volleyball on the courts and skating along the walkway. The home itself was clean, linens and towels were also cleaned and available. The rooms are warm, but fans are available which is nice because the warm cool breeze at night was wonderful. We utilized the kitchen, it came fully stocked with all the kitchenware essentials. This was nice because bringing a baby on the trip preparing bottles and food is a must. I found everything I needed to do that. We drove a minivan, but the parking provided is very narrow, but LONG. We parked elsewhere because getting into the space was tight.We rented the upper level of the unit & my advice, if stairs are a problem, this place has quite some flights up. However, the view at the top is phenomenal. Overall, pros definitely out weigh cons. We would book again!

House was beautiful. Great location. Loved the view. Parking was terrible though. House was clean, but floors need some work. They were very dirty. We will definitely be back!

The view was exceptional. It was a very well supplied, clean and comfortable unit. We love that South Mission Beach location. Easy to get to the beach and bay. Garage parking was tight but manageable with open street parking right next to the unit and at the jetty. Communication was excellent.

Meet The Owner of San Diego Beach King

Maurice Maio, a long time San Diego resident and well known successful businessman, started the San Diego Beach King Vacation Rental company in 2000. His first property was the Sleek Retreat purchased in 2000 which is the recipient of many awards including "House of the Year" and "HGTV House Hunter's On Vacation" series.

Mr. Maio took over the family plumbing, heating & air business at age 19 after his losing his father. Starting with 1 truck and no trades knowledge, the company grew to over 50 in less than 5 years and was modeled throughout the world thru the Maio Success System. Mr. Maio developed many innovated business practices and has hosted over 1200 seminars worldwide. He sold his companies to a wall street firm and began his vacation rental business.

Since it's inception, The San Diego Beach King has offered it's clients first class service at reasonable rental rates. Each property is carefully maintained and decorated with style. The Maio team runs smoothly and you'll see him smiling visiting the properties often. He loves Mission Beach, knows where to eat, where to rent, where to surf. Your vacation is his vacation and you'll see it when renting one of his properties that he owns or manages.
