About this property

Comfy and cozy are we, at the river, my doggie and me. This Sliding Rock Cabin is situated directly on the ELLIJAY RIVER, and has it all; pool table, large screened porch for outside dining, gated deck, fenced yard, hot tub, fire pit, fireplace, and of course the music of the river. This Sliding Rock Cabin is an ADULT ONLY cabin (no guests under age 25) and please no cats. Dogs are welcome with no pet fees. The configuration of the deck/porch/fenced yard offers a secure area for your dog 3/4 of the way around the cabin. PLEASE NOTE CANCELLATION POLICY BELOW.

First Floor: 2 king bedrooms and one bath (Shower/tub combo)
Second Floor: Game loft and bathroom (shower-no tub)

We encourage you to protect your vacation investment with a travel insurance of your choice.

Access: Access to this cabin is via gravel, mountain roads. 4 wheel drive is not required, confidence in mountain driving is recommended.

CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING/NO SHOW/EARLY DEPARTURE: Each cabin is privately owned and cancellations affect owners significantly. Cancellations, rescheduling, or changes must be submitted in writing and confirmed received by Sliding Rock Cabins® more than thirty-one (31) days prior to the original check-in date in order to receive refund, less a Fifty Nine Dollar ($59) cancellation fee. Said changes regardless of reason made within thirty-one (31) days of your original check-in date will result in a forfeiture of all moneys paid. All moneys paid are non-transferable to another rescheduled date. Refunds will be given if Agent can re-book said dates with another guest limited to the extent of rebooking. Agents are not responsible for Guests inability to arrive or if Guests chooses to depart early for any reason, or if members of Guests party do not show up. Another wonderful stay at Cherokee Shoals

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've been coming to Cherokee Shoals for over 12 years now and it never fails to restore and rejuvenate our souls. The music of the river was even greater with all the recent rains. This was a memorial trip of sorts as we lost our precious Australian Shepherd, Baxter, recently. He loved it here. Fortunately, his litter mate and sister, Molly, is still with us at the age of 15. She so enjoys laying on the porch napping to the sounds of the river. What a treat we had when we arrived on Friday: 6 beautiful deer. We watched as they slowly moved up the mountain. Thank you Sliding Rock Cabins, and Cherokee Shoals.
