A great place to stay in Michigan harbor country. The place was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed both the common areas outside and the private deck/porch (private with a shared walkway). Beach towels and a very nice beach umbrella are provided for visiting the nearby beach. The VERY popular Luisa’s Swedish Bakery is a quick walk away for breakfast. Will definitely be added to our list of places to stay at again!

Perfect Getaway

I booked the Getaway room for myself and my boyfriend and it was fantastic! The room was extremely clean and comfortable, and the entire space is super cute!!! Jocelyn made everything incredibly easy for us as well, I really appreciated all the little things that she did that went above and beyond to help us get acquainted with the area! Next time I’m in Michigan, I’ll definitely be looking to book here again!

Wonderful Weekend

Joycelyn was a perfect “host”. This was the first time I’ve rented a VRBO where host was onsite and it came in handy.. had to make a late night call to adjust AC.. and she was so helpful. I will definitely return. The location is also perfect .. close to beaches, shopping, and wineries.

Excellent Stay, Great Host

This was our first time in Harbor County, and it was such a wonderful experience. Jocelyn is a terrific and accommodating host who knows the area well and was able to give great recommendations. She was incredibly thoughtful as well, having beach chairs, towels and umbrellas ready. The location itself is great, quiet, but nestled in between a towns and beaches. The unit itself was clean and well equipped, and the outdoor area was fantastic. I would highly recommend staying here.

Cozy and Trendy

This redone building is awesome! Roomy and has everything you need. Jocelyn is wonderful! She meets you in-person, which I loved! She is close by in case you need anything, but is very respectful of your privacy. The property has 4 units and they all share a common area out back where the hot tub is. The individual fire pit areas were amazing! We will be back for sure!

A Couples Romantic Getaway

My fiance and I drove from Chicago to Harbert Michigan. We arrived an hour early so when I contacted Jocelyn she was very sweet to offer us to get into to our suite early. The place was just like the photos shown online. It was cozy, comfy, and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub, lit a bonfire, and barbecued. Everyone was very kind in town. We visited a brewery, the Swedish Bakery, and the park across the way. We both also agreed to plan our wedding here. It left an unforgettable impression. We are looking forward to coming back. Thank you Jocelyn.

Getaway Within

We stayed in one of the studio units. It was very clean and comfortable. The back door of the unit opened up to a small patio which then led to the hot tub and fire pits. The outside area was wooded and serene. Jocelyn, our host, was spot on and attentive to us. She shared the restaurant and beach information as well as some hidden gems that only a local would know about. Getaway Within is located in the heart of Michigan's Harbor Country. Note the kitchenette in the studio did not have a stove but did have a full fridge, microwave and Keurig coffeemaker. Perfect
