I assume you also enjoyed attending the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg and I'm pleased that my accommodations were to your liking. I'd look forward to having another booking from you for the same, another event, or perhaps just a get-away.
Nice place very close walk to crescent lake park. Centralized location close to restaurants, short Uber ride to Vinoy park, St. Pete pier, downtown St. Pete-would recommend staying here. Easy checkin and checkout process
The stay was great, the property is comfy and very accommodating. Close to central ave, restaurants, and entertainment. Also very close to the beach, check in/out was very easy, the house itself was more than what we needed for our stay this past weekend. I will be sure to use this property again for any stays over in St Pete! Thank you for a lovely weekend Charles!

I'm so pleased you found my property to your liking. Looking forward to your future stays.
This house suited us perfectly. The spacious rooms, the well supplied kitchen, the furnishings (indoors and out), the interesting decor, and most of all, the patios front and back, shaded by tropical greenery. We loved the proximity to Crescent Lake with wonderful birds, paths and benches. Communication with the owner was quick and effective.

I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Perhaps your Winter plans for next year will include Florida. If so I'd be happy to have you stay for an encore.
My husband and I stayed in this bungalow in 2022. We were excited to find it was availabe again this year. It was even better than we remembered--sparkling clean, fully equipped and in a beautiful neighborhood. It is not large, but that didn't matter to us. The liviing area is spacious, the main bedroom is big with a very comfortable bed. Plenty of sheets, towels and everything you could ask for in the kitchen. All the appliances are modern and work well. The one or two times we had to contact the host, he was extremely prompt and helpful. For us, the location was the real magic. Just a short block from Crescent Lake with all its water birds, etc.--we walked around it every day. Goodness, how we hated to leave!

I'm so flattered that you wanted to stay again. Maybe next year?
Quiet, well-equipped bungalow in great neighborhood
We fell in love even before we entered the house. Lush native vegetation almost hides the home, providing the ultimate in peace and quiet. The inside was bright. The furniture in the spacious living room was comfortable--a must for us since we are big readers. Unlike so many rentals, the kitchen was extremely well-equipped. Lots of pots, pans, utensils and even decent knives! There were plenty of dishes, too. Mugs and glasses, plates and bowls. The master bedroom was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The closets were big. We enjoyed the small back patio and the lovely front patio. Great for sharing afternoon tea or evening cocktails. Best of all was the QUIET. Many neighborhoods in Saint Petersburg are fairly noisy, but this little house is enough off the beaten path that there is no traffic noise. Oh, and I must not forget the location--so close to beautiful Crescent Lake. Walking around that, enjoying the many birds--white pelicans! a roseate spoonbill!--became a daily treat. We were extremely happy there.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Not up to VRBO standards
The over all cleanliness was fine, but the refrigerator was dirty in side(I had to clean it before putting anything in it. The kitchen cabinets & drawers were filthy(years of grease and dirt). I cleaned a couple to use. The dishes and pots and pans, etc. were just shoved in the cabinets in no real organization. I had to organize everything to know what was there. The kitchen was adequately outfitted. The refrigerator has rust spots on the outside, the oven was dirty
The mattresses on both beds were super hard and very uncomfortable. Linens were adequate, but old and dingy. The overall furnishings were uncomfortable and pure garage sale type.
The outside of the property was overgrown and had not been taken care of for a long time.
Would not recommend this property to anyone

I regret the property was not to your standards. I might reiterate the home is not furnished, landscaped to be “cookie-cutter”, nor appeal to those who wish to stay at an “ordinary” property. I’m pleased you found that the overall cleanliness was fine and that the kitchen was adequately outfitted.
It’s impossible to clean beyond a routine level between guests: no cleaning cabinets, running the self-clean cycle on the oven, emptying and cleaning drawers, washing walls, etc. Cleaning at that level is done on a regular basis but with a longer time interval.
Everyone has personal prefernces with regard to mattress firmness, expectations for the quality of linens, and the style and quality of furnishings. Genuine “Lane Furniture” Danish Modern, vintage Mid-Century, and family heirloom Art Deco with a splash of tropical rattan will not appeal to everyone. The interior photographs are accurate.
The home is promoted as a Mid-Century Modern Urban Garden Retreat including photographs depicting the surroundings. The outdoors is “xeriscaped”, ecologically sound, with native plants to provide year-round greenery and privacy. Not to everyone’s taste.
House was in great condition and was very clean. It may have been mentioned in the description but we didn't find a central air unit and the house was quite warm on arrival which was to be expected. The living spaces cooled down after adjusting the A/C wall unit in the living room but the bedrooms stayed a bit warm. The fans in the bedrooms kept it comfortable however. We had an issue where our friend's Tesla parked in the driveway had its sentry mode triggered by a nearby tree and was flashing its headlights at the neighbors house. We weren't home at the time but the Property Manager was quick to communicate with us and we resolved it as quickly as possible. I'd recommend this to any small group looking for a place within a great location of St Pete!
My first impression was how clean the home was. Each room was very orderly, neat and clean. The furniture and necessities were well placed. The downtown area is so close to this location and the park is within walking distance.
I would recommend that the landscaping be trimmed up as the palm fonds were arching over the driveway and touching the car when parked.

I'm so pleased you liked the house. Thanks for the tip about the palm fronds and I'll have that taken care of.
This house was perfect for our needs, close to downtown, quiet, and relaxing. The kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed many great meals out of it. Would definitely stay again!
My self, sister and mom enjoyed this house and location so much. 1 block to Cresent Lake (this is a beautiful neighborhood) and could walk all over town. Downtown was about a 1.5 miles. Beach is a quick 15 minute drive.
The house is comfortable, clean with the basics supplied. It is a lovely 1960 or 70s? house with original floor and bathroom - which is what I love about visiting florida. I would stay again in the future!
The owner was responsive and friendly

Thank you for your thoughtful and complimentary feedback. FYI the house was built in 1957 and, as you note, has its original features. It would be a pleasure to have you and your family stay another time. When you do I’ll try to arrange for the sunny and warm Chamber of Commerce weather so you can again enjoy walks around the lake and to downtown.
The house is cozy and cute and retro. The neighborhood is quiet and nicely situated by a lake and park with green space and pickleball and tennis courts which were open until 11. Short walk to trendy historic uptown and a quick drive or bike ride downtown. Will definitely try to stay here again!

So glad you enjoyed your stay. Looking forward to your next visit!
Excellent place to come home to and relax after a day out in the city, the parks, or at the beach. Good walking neighborhood and lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Crescent Lake is full of life but relaxing.
we had a wonderful time staying here. the location is great and the property itself is beautifully landscaped. There were beach towels and brochures left for us as well as a timed light so that we didn't enter the property in the dark. We would definitely stay here again.
Located in a very pleasant and quiet residential neighbourhood,
the house is surrounded by an abundance of subtropical plants and trees. Inside the tastefully decorated home everything is perfect, just to mention the fully equipped kitchen, the very comfortable lounge and the fast Wifi internet connection.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and would like to thank the owner for being a true five-star host.
