Located one mile from spectacular Longnook Beach, this home provides a delightful walk or bike ride any time of day. As an alternative, it is a 10-minute ride to Corn Hill Beach on the bay-side and a secluded woodland walk at the end of Higgins Hollow Road.

Ceiling fans take the edge off a hot summer day, and radiant heat offers glorious warmth during chilly fall and winter weather. The home has 2 bedrooms, a futon for guest sleep overs, an indoor bathroom (tub & shower), and outdoor shower. It is fully winterized for year round use and includes a full complement of new kitchen appliances, an indoor dining area, and living room. There is a full basement with beach chairs and umbrellas, and a washer and dryer (laundry soap provided). For those who prefer drying their clothes in the fresh air, there is an outdoor clothesline.

This home is an ideal blend of indoors and out. The home’s cathedral ceilings, many windows, and open floor plan add a sense of openness and light to each room. During the warm months, the spacious screened in porch has tables and comfortable chairs that provide the perfect place to start the day with a cup of tea or coffee while serenaded by song birds. The upstairs bedroom has windows and a skylight, a large bureau, and pegs for hanging items.. It is set up as two twin beds, but can be configured as a king if requested ahead of time.

The owners have adopted several sustainable energy saving practices, including solar panels, recycling and composting. Longnook Meadows Farm is a stone's throw away and offers ultra fresh organic vegetables.
