Overall, the house was clean when we arrived and is a unique, multi-level home with a mostly open-concept layout.A few things are worth noting for future guests. The primary (loft) bedroom has a very large window with minimal light blocking, so don’t expect to sleep much past sunrise. The house also felt consistently damp during our stay, leaving everything - including us - feeling slightly wet after spending time indoors. There was an abundance of ants throughout the house, along with other bugs. While some insects are expected in a beach area, there were enough inside that it became a noticeable issue. The grill could use a thorough cleaning and some maintenance, and the frying pans should be replaced since they all stick badly. Communication before check-in was limited, with no information provided until about 10 days before our trip. Also, the house does not provide bed linens, bath towels, or beach towels, so be prepared to bring or rent all of those. The biggest positive is the location. We love Truro and Corn Hill, and the easy walk to the beach was wonderful. We had a fantastic week in Truro, but based on our experience, we likely wouldn’t choose to rent this house again.
