Recientemente renovado con hermosos pisos de arce, gabinetes de cerezo y encimeras de granito. Electrodomésticos de alta gama, cocina fácil por dentro y por fuera. Ubicado en dos acres que bordean un campo de 12 acres en conservación, el patio es grande con maravillosos jardines de flores. Lugar privado, no puedes ver vecinos! Excelente mano de obra, el ambiente es cálido con muchos toques atractivos. 2 hermosas habitaciones, 1 1/4 baño, un gran jacuzzi en el baño principal, esta casa está inundada de luz solar. Excelente ubicación, a 1 1/2 millas del centro de la ciudad, a media milla de la fachada del estanque público, lanzamiento de botes, caminatas y senderos para bicicletas. Acceso a las playas de la ciudad de West Tisbury a 3 km. Sepiessa Pond natación, senderismo y lancha. Situado en la isla media, cerca de todos los pueblos y actividades. El propietario vive tranquilamente en un apartamento anexo, pero la privacidad está asegurada.

Tranquil!!

Upon arrival you know it is going to be quiet and peaceful! I spent some time just sitting in the back watching the birds - it was exactly what I needed. The location was close enough to get to everything within 30 min and yet far enough for complete relaxation.

First thought:Pristine...then calming colors on the interior, just beautiful! A Naturally landscaped yard, private, quiet. I am a trained Chef, amazing stove, awesome Weber gas grill on the deck. The jacuzzi bathtub is devine...Love this house...comong back...LOVE

Wonderful location and well kept yard

We love Martha’s Vineyard and have vacationed there almost every summer for the last 25+ years. There are always pros and cons to where we stay, and this house is no exception. Pros: Jackie was very quick to respond to our emails. While she wouldn’t give us her phone number, the email seemed to work fine. The yard was very large and beautifully kept. We saw birds, bunnies, squirrels, chipmunks and turkeys. The kitchen was well stocked. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The outdoor shower was large and refreshing. And now the cons: There were small cockroaches in the upstairs bathroom. Jackie quickly took care of the problem with cotton balls soaked in a herbal oil. That lasted a few days. Her comment to me was that this was the first she’d heard of the problem. There were window air conditioners in the bedrooms upstairs for use when there was intense heat. We were told that on the vineyard you don’t need a/c during the day because it never gets that hot there. Guess what? It gets hot and it gets muggy. (My bad for not asking about the a/c situation to begin with before making my decision. I know from many years of experience that it gets uncomfortably hot and muggy.). And there’s no controlling the weather. The washer and dryer were in the basement. Getting to it meant climbing over a lot of stuff. The dryer was slow to dry. We think the vent needed to be cleaned out because while we were using it the smoke detectors went off. To make things worse the washer and dryer were off limits from Wednesday at 1 to Thursday at 4 because that was the time Jackie was using it. That was exactly mid way through our week when normally we’d be doing laundry. Some of these issues may not be issues for other people. I would have liked to have known better what we were getting into.

The setting is lovely and the house has much to recommend it. Contrary to the experience of others, however, there were significant privacy violations during our stay. Hopefully, this was an anomaly.

Beautiful property well located

This is a lovely home with everything you need for a comfortable stay for 3-4 people. I especially loved the large deck for cooking and enjoying the sunshine. The property is near to beautiful conservation land where you can walk or put a kayak in-- you can walk to MV land banks' Short Cove and Sepiessa Point is .5 away. Jackie was helpful and easy to communicate with.

Charming, comfy home.

This was the cleanest, most completely appointed home I have ever stayed in. It had everything we needed and more. The yard is gorgeous. We were surrounded by woods and it was very quiet. Nothing was more than 20 minutes away.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay at Jackie's place! The location of the house is perfect--close to beautiful trails and beaches, West Tisbury famers market and up island adventures, but also not far from Edgartown. The upstairs (where bedrooms are located) is cozy, so definitely share the space with people you are 100% comfortable with. Our favorite part of the house was definitely the outdoor shower and back deck. Check in/check out was simple and easy.

Magical hide-a-way

This is a magical hide-a-way in the woods with all the amenities you could ask for. The flowers around the yard are just beautiful. We had a lovely time enjoying both this beautiful home and the island!

Enjoy your stay - we did!

Peaceful stay at this tranquil home in West Tisbury. Home itself is spacious, and though it looks older bc of the clever use of older doors and other fixtures, it's a newer home that is perfectly designed to make you feel like you're in a splendid cottage in the woods. The main bedroom is spacious and comfortable as is the living room. The second bedroom has a twin bed and was great for our 19 year old son. What we really enjoyed was the fantastic kitchen and great deck outside with a sweet picnic table and nice gas grill. We had a number of meals at home, enjoying our fresh seafood and island bounty on the back deck overlooking the private lawn and distant old fashioned laundry line. Pretty flowers and plantings. Location is as good as anything we've had in West Tis - very close to Alley's General Store which is actually closed this summer, but I guess they'll be back next year. Also, the owner told us about a great walking trail nearby, and there was an even closer path across the main road that takes you through some private lots to a spit of land with stunning field and water views. Jackie is super nice and laid back, and was almost invisible though she and her partner are on site in an adjacent apt. This place is awesome. Huge tub with jacuzzi jets upstairs. Enjoy your stay - we did! :)

Relaxing getaway

My friend and I enjoyed our stay very much. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. We loved sitting on the back deck and watching the birds and bunnies. It was quiet and peaceful. Loved the artwork in the house.

Fantastic Zen Home

Jackie's home is peaceful and quite. The bed in master bedroom is VERY comfortable. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in with all the necessary equipment including a nice outdoor grill. Lovely outdoor shower and deck for relaxing. Excellent location, too! Highly recommend.

Tranquility Base

We loved it. It's tucked away and very quiet. The home is modern and in great condition. Frankly, we only used it for sleeping as our short 4 days on the island were filled with activities. We would definitely stay there again.

Better Communication update the house

We rented this property, knowing that it was two bedroom, 3 beds.Upon our arrival, we noticed there were two beds, we called the landlord , she said never three beds, she said someone can sleep on the couch. We showed her her post where it showed three beds are in the 2 bedroom. she said , I don’t know what I was thinking, within an hour she finds a twin bed, not for and adult, a toddler bed.No on can sleep on this small bed, so I winded up sleeping on the couch, with all the money I paid for comfort.,.not..other thing, utensils draw filthy with greasy oil. The lightening was terrible.cant read a book. Master bedroom no light in closet, could not see what clothes to choose, need my light on my phone. Not enough mirrors, one in bathroom, one master bedroom, down stairs bathroom, no sink, disgusting, needed to wash hand in kitchen sink. No mirror in downstairs bathroom. Stale food in cabinet, we never used her food , brought out own. She can use new beach chairs, two were rusted. Other thing, she sent a message to my friend that she needed to get into our private rented house, that she need a blanket that her friend wanted back, she said it was urgent, she couldn’t wait until we checked out. What person rents a house with blankets borrowed from a friend. She should have her own supplies. My experience there at that house not very happy camper, the money I paid

Beautiful property in quiet location

A beautifully-decorated, fully-equipped house on a quiet property full of flowers and birds. Located near the beach and West Tisbury, and an easy drive to every other place on the island. Jackie was a wonderful hostess. If Jackie will have us again, then I hope our family can stay at this house for many years to come!

I found this property and promptly fell in love. Located on a cul-de-sac next to a 12 acre conservation meadow and with gentle sloping topography, it was and is the perfect place to design and build my dream home and garden to my hearts content. You will understand when you see it.

You can bike or walk to the beautiful conservation property, Sepiessa Pond, take a swim and enjoy the woods and beach. You can drive to any beach, restaurant or store within 20 minutes. It feels as if you are tucked far away from civilization but in fact, you are just nestled into a cozy, roomy home away from home.
