Located on Lake Michigan's Cat Head Point this stunning home has all the amenities that families and friends will talk about for years! Spacious rooms and gorgeous views this home will spawn lasting memories for creative travelers. The DoWitt Home sleeps 8 comfortably and has 4 bedrooms and 5 bath rooms. Large living room, study, porch overlooking the lake and large kitchen. Traverse down to Lake Michigan and enjoy the lush landscape and beach. This house is on a peninsula if you’re not familiar with the area. Similar to an island has a constant breeze. Very comfortable and relaxing. You can hear the waves at night. And see 1 million stars beautiful sunsets also sunrises.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and return the keys
Please load in the washing machine washing, and another one in dryer. it takes many hours to get it done, before the next group comes in. If not help, I usually have to short the next group that comes
Monday is trash day, unfortunately. So I come on Monday evening to put it out Sunday evening. Unless you have kids and you want, let them do it. We can talk about that.
Have a good time. And please just return it the way you found it and treat it as if it were your own home or better. Thank you.

Beautiful Lake Michigan property

The house was very large with lots of different living areas and was well stocked. Katherine was great to work with and the property was absolutely breathtaking. A real Lake Michigan beauty.

Gorgeous view!!

Great view! Great communication with Katherine. House had everything we needed! Everyone had their own space and bathroom. We lived in the screened in porch!! Such a great room with a great breeze. Can’t wait to go back!

Best spot on the beach!

We had a wonderful family stay at the Dewitt house! Plenty of room for everyone and perfectly perched on the dune for amazing views.

Beautiful sunsets on the lake

We had 3 families of 4 with young kids staying at this property. The location was very nice having a private beach within a 2 minute walk in the backyard. There were some small hiccups, which were addressed immediately by the house manager. The sunset and sunrise were beautiful and listening to the crash of the waves each morning and evening was very peaceful. We visited Sleeping Bear Dunes and Traverse City which were both about 45 minutes from the house were a very nice visit. We enjoyed our Michigan vacation. Thank you.

Great house, great location, and amazing view!
