Tucked within the quaint lakeside community of Serene Lakes, this newly remodeled mid-century mountain chalet lets you experience the Tahoe National Forest at it’s best. Van Norden Lodge is a perfect getaway for those seeking tranquility and a chance to reset and connect with nature.

The space
Van Norden Lodge boasts 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, including two luxurious master suites with heated flooring throughout the en-suite bathrooms, a cozy camp-themed queen room across from a bathroom with a tub, a kid’s bunk room with an attached half bathroom, as well as an entire bonus floor with a game room and play area. Plenty of room for families with kids to enjoy each other while all having their own space.
Enjoy a hot tub and sauna after a day on the slopes at one of the four nearby downhill ski resorts - Sugarbowl, Soda Springs, Donner Ski Ranch, and Boreal - or the country’s biggest cross-country ski resort, Royale Gorge, which is at our back door.
Linens, towels, and toiletries provided. The house also has basic equipment for children including a pack-n-play, travel high chair, toys, sleds, etc.
We are happy to share our space with people who want to use it as a retreat to enjoy quality time with friends and family, but please note this is not a party rental.
