As you step inside, you're greeted by a bright, open space with tasteful décor that invites relaxation. The living room features comfortable seating, an electric fireplace for those cozy evenings, and a flat-screen TV for your entertainment. The newly renovated kitchen, located just off the living area, boasts modern stainless steel appliances, a wide variety of small appliances, and is fully stocked for all your culinary needs. The breakfast bar comfortably seats three, and tucked away is a hidden closet with a front-loading washer and dryer for your convenience.

The primary bedroom offers a spacious king bed and ample closet space, while the guest bedroom features a queen bed with additional storage. Both rooms share a stylishly updated bathroom with a walk-in shower and a modern finish. Moonlight Retreat is the perfect spot to enjoy the serene beauty of the mountains while staying close to town. Your reservation includes a damage protection plan. The damage protection plan is $50, and it covers up to $3,000 in damages. In lieu of purchasing the damage protection plan, guests have the option to choose a refundable security deposit. If you would like to pay a refundable security deposit, please contact us. The security deposit is $500 and will be administered subject to the NC Tenant Security Deposit Act.

It was great! My one suggestion would be to put a small 2 top bistro table and chair near the window facing the driveway, for a little extra seating at meal time. We had 4 of us traveling, and one person had to stand or eat alone.

My wife and I enjoyed our short stay at Moonlight Retreat. The house was very clean and well furnished. Although small, it was fine just for the two of us. It is very secluded and quiet. We were not able to see or hear any other residents and could hear very faint road noise. It is a bit difficult to get to and I don't sugguest going in for the first time after dark. Overall it was a great experience for us.
