Dog-friendly mountain chalet with BRAND NEW hot tub. The house is conveniently located only 20 mins from Squaw, Homewood, and Northstar. The back deck has a new grill and seating area for the summer. The main room in the home has a fireplace, TV with Chromecast and speaker system, a dining area, and full well-appointed kitchen. There's space to entertain, cook, and watch movies. Guests can use the garage to keep cars and equipment inside.

People and dog approved!

We had a wonderful time at this rental. The host was very communicative, which made the check-in and check-out procedures run smoothly. The rental had great amenities and was conveniently located to town and the Northstar Resort. There was a trail walking distance from the neighborhood, that was great for the dog and we were a short drive from the lake, where she got to swim. The house itself was mostly clean, with some old food crumbs that were missed between the sofa and the ottoman. A tip for guests staying here, you have to forcefully close the dishwasher, or it won’t start. We would definitely stay here again! People and dog approved!

We had a wonderful 4 days at Alexander’s cabin. Even though we arrived in the middle of a snowstorm, the cabin was easy to access annd the road was plowed. And the surrounding area was absolutely gorgeous with all the snow. A few blocks away is access to the national forest, which made for some lovely walks with our dogs. You can also see the lake through a few of the windows from the cabin. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was awesome! It has amazing jets and got up to 104! I really loved the location in Carnellian Bay as it is very conveniently located close to Tahoe city. We skied at Homewood, which is our favorite ski spot only 20 minutes away… No lines and the most affordable in the area. We did have one minor incident where a bear tried to get into our car and ended up ripping off the door knobs on the driver side. So warning to all- do not leave any food in your car! Or use the garage… Which is quite spacious. Alexander was incredibly responsive to all of my messages. I would definitely recommend this cabin and would stay there again.
