Fall retreat to watch leaves turn

Great town, great place, wonderful people and great house. Make sure to eat at Rivers and Rails Tavern as well as visit all the local breweries and shops.

Dillsboro stay

Good communications, owner was easy to work with, easy check out. House was roomy and comfortable. Highly recommended. Very convenient to Dillsboro and Sylva, good places to shop and eat, all the amenities you need , and surrounded by the mtns.

Girls bday weekend

We love Dillsboro and this place is conveniently located very near the town. Just know that if your stay is in the winter, the drive is steep and potentially slippery during inclement weather. There are 2 king beds, well stocked kitchen. Plenty of room to spread out.

Excellent location but in need of deep cleaning and restocking/reorganizing

The location for convenience to town was great. We had an issue with the TV which the host was able to get resolved and communicated very quickly with us. The cleanliness was not good. Washer was filthy, knives and dishes were dirty and all mismatched, a jar of grease sitting in the cabinet, furniture in disarray, closet in the master that had insulation and mice droppings falling down, downstairs closet full of personal effects, and dead rodents in the side yard. This could be a very cute VRBO but needs a deep cleaning and reorganizing. Matched dishes and silverware would go a long ways to making the kitchen presentable. More pictures and explanation of sleeping arrangements are a necessity. The two rooms with king beds have difficult access, one is upstairs and the other requires a step stool to get in to. So the only option would be the twin room downstairs for anyone with any sort of mobility concerns or limited vision in the dark.
